i have started this thread so people can say what fight they think was the worst in the TF movie

i personally think that the megatron optimus fight was the worst fight in the movie for a couple of reasons

1 you only get to see a couple of clips of it cause it cut between the other fights going on

2 and it wasnt even that long you would expect a fight between optimus prime leader of the autbots and megatron leader of the decpticons to be a little longer wouldnt you


also movie jazz is the weakest jazz ever

I really don't think there was a bad fight...
But I think you're right when you say that Optimus and Megatron should have been shown fighting longer.

Of course the fight was short. It's called MPAA. They say "it can be no longer than X amount of time" and often set a standard of 3 hrs. That's why there's things called Extended Edition DVDs.

I don't know much about the cartoon Jazz, but I was so sad when he died.

I thought Jazz didn't do too bad, considering he was infantry commander, recovered very quickly after getting thrown from Brawl, got two good shots in, and come on, comparing Jazz to Megatron, isn't that kind of unfair? And at least he sounded the retreat, and everyone complied - means that he did command some respect, yeah?

Megatron kicked his ass, and that's the way it should be. He's Megatron. I'm not saying it couldn't have been done better, Im just saying thats what you expect when you pair up a small friendly Autobot with the Lord high Protector Decepticon.

I agree the Prime/Megs fight was disappointing. But, I also thought the BB/Barricade fight was lacking as well. You get to see them go at it for a few seconds, then the action cuts to Frenzy fighting Sam. After that, we see BB putting his cannon away and Barricade is lying in a heap somewhere. I would have liked to have seen more of their fight instead of focusing so much on Frenzy and the kids.

Actually it was more like Frenzy attacking Sam, and Mikaela (sp?) coming to his rescue.

I definitely wanted to see more of BB and Barricade. I was geeking out watching BB slam him into that building, then we see a blur...and that's it.

Watching Starscream take out those jets was so sweet, but I would've loved him to have a real throwdown with Ironhide and Ratchet. Not just with gunpower, but with some hand-to-hand combat.

Yeah, that was cool.
I would have liked to see him with a sword hacking away at the Autobots.

What I don't get is:

Blackout attacking Sam, Ironhide blocks, and then Blackout transforms and flies past... why?

Then Starscream blows the crap out of Ironhide and Ratchet, and then... flies away?

Why did this happen? I'm an Autobot fan, but even I'm wondering why Starscream and Blackout didn't kill Ironhide and Ratchet then and there.

The Mikhaela vs. Frenzy fight left me feeling bleh, the fact that he cant take bullets so damn easily yet a little electric saw cuts clean through him, with no kickback....

Most of the fights were a tad disappointing one way or another, but the actual bot on bot fight that was the worst was Jazz vs. Megatron.

Sure Jazz didnt run away like Ironhide and Ratchet, but when he was hanging in Megatron's grip, all he did was fire at his shins

How about an extended version as long as the books? The whole trilogy took me about a year to read through.

Lord of the Rings? More like BORE of the Rings!

Ok the fights weren't really crap (besides jazz VS megatron) its just that you didn't see much of them cause it cut to sam and mikeala or the soldiers

which is sorta crap considering the movie is meant to be about giant sentient alien robots and you get all up at least ten minutes of fights between them maybe not even that much

i mean yeah the movies meant to show the effect of alien robots on the people but using the people to cut away from the fights is just mean

I think all three put together makes more than a day. I dunno. I have no idea how long each one runs for. All I know is, by the end of them, I have internal organ problems from refusing to pause it to go pee.

Simple. Sam had the Allspark. The Decepticons were ordered to retrieve the Allspark. That means "screw any Autobots. Go around them and get the boy!"
