Movie Irony

In a bit of poetic irony, as I was driving home after seeing the movie for the third time yesterday, a red GMC Topkick truck passed me in the on coming lane. The best part was that is was being followed by a black Saleen Mustang. It brought a little smile to my face.

OK, feel good moment is over...

Hmm. That is a bit of an odd coincidence. I would say it could have been me, but you don't live near me (as per your location section of profile). You see, my cousin drives a Topkick 4500 pickup, white, and I own a blood red Saleen, and we mess with friends who have seen the movie and will go speeding into their driveway and bail so when our friends see them there are no drivers. Which in retrospect is probably stupid. If the cars crash, we're screwed.

Try to install remote controllers.

Like the ones used for stunts shots.

Duck.

Unless they're watching from the second floor or something.

That would bite if you took the joke too far and wrecked. However, it's good to hear you're taking advantage of your cars like that. Sound like fun to me...

That's hilarious, but yea, don't crash. That would be an expensive error.

If you're looking for a surefire way to piss me off, you just found it. Sorry I snapped, but being mistaken for a guy just drives me bonkers.

Ah, don't feel bad. I'm mistaken for a guy on these type of forums all the time. Unless you have "girl" or something in your username, people will usually assume that you are male. Even after all my pics I've put on here and the many times I've mentioned that I'm female, I still get the occasional person that thinks he's talking to another dude. Sometimes I wonder if my credibility is shot the moment I mention it....

Don't make Bender get up in here about what is and isn't irony.

(Btw, Futurama Bender not Fender Bender).
