Luckiest little boy ever!

If only my dad were that cool! I was taken to school in a beaten down pickup truck and soda cans and trash fell on the ground when I got out.

You'd think the fact that it looks nothing like the police cars in that town, as well as the big "TRANSFORMERS" written on both doors and the windshield, might be enough of a clue. Don't most people know what the police cars in their town look like?

His replica doesn't seem to have blinkers.

I think it's ok if he did not put blinkers.

What if you're from out of town?

That guy is just asking for trouble. You can't impersonate a police officer, I said it before in this thread. It doesn't matter if you have Transformers decals or Decepticon logos or whatever, if you have a big huge "POLICE" decal on your door, that constitutes impersanation, and that's against the law. If my house is being broken into and I flag down what I think is a police car, only to have it be some bozo, I really won't care if he was "just trying to make his kid happy", I'll sue the city for letting this guy drive around in an illegally marked police car.

Great job, I'm sure the cops in Las Vegas (of all places) don't have enough to deal with already without having to waste their time with some transformer fans pretending to be a cop, in a city that is already full of pretend-cops, which apparently is causing quite a problem over there.

If the guy wants to get a car that he can paint up to look like one from the movie there are other options that don't involve impersonating a police car (not really impersonating an officer is he? or are vegas cops often on duty in jeans and tf t-shirts?)

I agree with Skowl. He doesn't need the word 'police' on it and, even if the car doesn't resemble most of the police cars in the area, he can still be stopped by a civilian in need of actual law enforcement.

I, myself, live in an area on the outskirts of a small town so there are multiple different types of police cars around and some of them I only see its type of car once or twice and that is the only time I see it, so it is quite understandable if someone stops him thinking it is a real cop car.

I want one!
But if i could have a car mimicking a Transformer i would pick either a GMC Topkick or a '08 Camaro. Or hell, why not a blue Peterbilt whit Flame!

He probably could trade in the Mustang for a Camaro, and do a BB instead. :)
