I know SM3 was a big disapointment to some, but I still love it. Shrek 3 I can do without, as well as Pirates. But I'm thrilled that TF has done so well. I remember some movie analyists saying it would be a big disappointment, so I was really rooting for it.
It's nice to see someone else who enjoyed Spider-Man 3.
Was it as good as it could've been? No. The whole "Mary Jane's a damsel in distress, again!" thing has more than worn out it's welcome with me (and many others I'd assume) but it certainly was entertaining, tied up everything along with leaving the door open a bit. It was definitely better than Spider-Man 2 which just becomes outright boring....
Shrek 3 was also better than it's predecessor, and still not quite as good as the first one. Problem is, I was never a fan of the entire Shrek "thing" so I guess I'm the odd man out.
Pirates 3 looked like a rental thing for me. I saw both Curse and Chest, and I have to say the first one was definitely better than the second. I hear the third one is non stop action, but absolutely no story whatsoever.
I'd love to see TransFormers climb to the top of the charts, but even if it makes it to second or third place...that's a hell of a lot more than any of us expected.
