anyone heard both of them? (or heard the songs on the soundtrack) Which is better, in your opinions ofc.

I, personally, LOVE the 1986 soundtrack. totally... awesome. the 2007 soundtrack songs weren't exactly... the best choice of songs.

AND, if you could change the setup of the 2007 movie soundtrack, what songs would you see being put in, and which songs would be removed?

I have the old one, and its brilliant and corny, the new one is just a bunch of emo crap. But I live the score, its good and epic, can't wait to get it.

true.
my gym teacher uses the transformers soundtrack (1986) when we are playing football/running etc.

songs like "Dare", "Nothing's Gonna Stand In Our Way" and "The Touch".. amazing. it looks like it even inspires the ppl in my class to actually keep on running etc.

everyone digs the teacher, he only plays old rock :D lots of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest songs, and even often, some Stan Bush songs :D

The old soundtracks are more meaningful and very appropriate for the scenes. Not to mention they sound better.

Love Jablonsky's score but Dicola's score has risen above and beyond legend status.

That is nothing like what emo sounds. If you wanna hear emo, listen to 'Three Cheers for Sweet Rvenge'. Just because its rock you dont like doesnt mean its emo. Lets see:

Linkin Park: Alternative
Smashing Pumpkins: Rock
Disturbed: Metal/Rock
Goo Goo Dolls: Rock
Used: Alternative
Him: Rock/Metal
Taking Back Sunday: Alternative
Styles of Beyond: Hip-Hop/Rap
Armor for Sleep: Rock/Alternative
Idiot Pilot: Rock
Julien-K: Rock/Techno
MuteMath: Alternative

Hmm, I dont see emo anywhere. Maybe you should learn about this kind of music before you judge it,
