I think Starscream... and I think I wouldve liked to see Megs be a triple changer of some sort...

Pretty much all of them.
It was a good movie, but the decepticons where all rushed and came from know where at the end, most of whomb where new filler characters.
The Autobots all just seemed to have the wrong traits for who they where supose to be save for Prime.

I semi agree with that except I really liked Prime and Jazz but I definitely know what u mean about the Decepticons.... Frenzy was like the most depicted Con in the movie!!

Jazz was stupid.
His name is JAZZ, not RAP. "Little Bitches????" I was so glad they killed him off.

All.
Although I have to say that they didn't give Ratchet enough lines to get his personality substantially wrong.

Because of the way they looked:
Megatron
Ratchet
Ironhide

Uhhh, you do realize Barricade was a movie original character, right? How could they have portrayed him wrong?
And even if they did, how could you say that? He was the best one of them all.
ARE YOU LADYSMAN 217??!!!! ARE YOU LADYSMAN 217???!!!!!!
Anyone that doesn't like that scene needs their head examined.

I think that Starscream was portrayed perfectly, but he should have had more screentime. I also am not a big fan of Ratchet's color scheme, but that is a rather minor flaw.

Um...Barricade's DESIGN was original for the movie, but there was indeed a Decepticon named Barricade in the G1 continuity...Perhaps not the same Barricade, but there are still no real grounds to call him a completely original movie character.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barricade_ ... formers%29As for myself, I wasn't too pleased with the lack of characterization a lot of the characters got, especially the Decepticons. We knew nothing about Brawl (Devastator in the movie), Blackout, Scorponok, Barricade, or Bonecrusher other than they were pretty darn mean XD
I didn't like Starscream's retarded steel-plated gorilla look. Jet not munky, y'know what I mean? And he needed more screentime...
Hell, they all needed more screentime.

Optimus Prime actually.
"My bad" ?
I'm sorry, but the Optimus Prime I know would never say something so dumb as "my bad" before saying something rather poetic like "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings"
and let's not forget Prime's other little gem at the end of the film:
"Aaaawwwww, Jazz."

I actually think they were all great. Fantastic movie and fantastic designs. They really made Non-TF fans into TF fans.

I should have known that, being the G1 fan that I am.
He sounds like a cool character. According to that bio, he was actually quite well done. There was no opertunity to show his street gang stuff, but the additude seemed the same.

It was some of the
humans that made me cringe!

I was fine with all the designs except Starscream's...
I didn't like his bird like legs or his weird looking face.
He still my favorite TF ever, but the moive design was lacking.

The Decepticons as a whole, but only due to lack of screen time. If they had proper screen time, I think we would've got a better idea of their personality.
I'm wondering to all who think any was portrayed wrong, what is that gauged on? By going by the profiles on the toy packaging, the little snipits of personality we got from all the characters seem to fit the intended personalities. But lack of any real character development for just about all of the TFs(save for Prime and BB), nothing really came across.

I'm sorry I did not agree with most of the charactizations, save maybe Bumblebees to a point.
Prime: Skowl pointed it out. Prime can have fun, ("Am I drooling right spike" "That's Dribbling, and yes you are." -Spike and Prime, who's showing off his skills with the basketball. *He was actually pretty good*) but he's a leader, he doesn't do "My bad" and he could have said something more poetic at seeing his second in command dead.
Jazz: As my friend said to me, Jazz downloaded BET and stopped there. The writers should have at least tried to show the cool factor of Jazz, not the "What's cracking Little Bitches?" What the heck.
Ratchet: At first I thought, yes some one right, then he fell against the wires and I nearly died. Since when is Ratchet such a klutz?
Ironhide: Oh please don't get me started with that whole issue of him wanting to kill people. I was annoyed with that. They should have let Cullen do it. He could easily made his voice deeper, and changed it some.
Megatron: Since when has he ever offered to make someone his pet? No offense to weaving, but I listened to him and Neimoy back to back, and I think he was channling more of Galvatron then Megatron for the part. The best part of Megatron was where he was talking to Starscream. (Side note to Micheal Bay, why the heck was Welkers voice to soft? He's done deeper voices and louder voices check out Aladdin if you don't know what I mean, he' the Cave of Wonders.
Starscream: This is another one that I shouldn't go off on. THey better give him more scenes in this Imax version or I'm going to be really really annoyed. He's second in command, show this. By the way for anyone that cares to know, Charlie Addler was Silverbolt the first in G1.
Barricade: I still want a prowl match up with him. Best cop car wins. I actually mostly liked him, though I keep having not to laugh to myself when I watch him on screen and not think of Wakko Warner.
Frenzy: Annoying, please replace with Talking Rumble, Laser Beak and Ravage. Please! I couldn't stand him at all. Worst of all was the walking and no one saw him?!? *shudders*
Brawl: ....No comment, nothing to comment on, where the heck did he go anyway?
Bonechrusher: Um...a grunt.
The problem is that Bay didn't let any charactization get into the characters. It's really rather depressing about that becuase the story is not "Humans and Robots" it's the Transformers, it's about these robots that are like humans, they have emotions, ablities, loves and hates, and that's what makes them so different then say Voltron or Gundam. They're alive, and the others aren't.
I'm surpised that no one commented on Addler also being on TF too.

Yup felt the same way. Bay likes to focus on the humans becuase he didn't get the formers apparently. He thought they were like Gundams. -_-

Micheal Bay - But I quickly became after I went to Hasbro, where you heard about that Transformers school? I really thought, "What the f*ck am I going to Hasbro for Transformers school? I thought I was going to learn how to fold up robots, but I met with the CEO and I went through the whole Transformer lore. I've been offered a lot of superhero movies before and nothing's really appealed to me and in the room, because I've been such a fan of Japanese anime it just hit me that if I make this really real it could be something very new and different.
So the only robots that he probably knew about were the mechas from most likely Gundam.
