One thing I am particularly looking forward to in the next film. (Possible SPOILER)

Bumblebee's voice. Well, more to the point, a lot more of it.

Mark Ryan did a phenomenal job. Perfectly suits the character of Movie Bumblebee, sets him apart from G1. Every time I see the film I wait in anticipation for those 10 seconds at timestamp 1.31.59 in which he speaks.

I cant understand how an American camero speaks with a British accent. The radio was much better for him talking.

The way I see it, now that BB can talk, he still won't bee a heavy talker.

His voice sounded shy and very formal. BB spoke what he felt and left it at that

I still think they should have gone with a slightly younger voice. It could have still been shy but a younger voice would have suited the look of the character more. Hopefully we'll hear a bit more of BB in the movie. The radio thing was cool.

What I want to know is what about Jazz. Are they going to bring him back?

I liked the radio noise effect that they used for Bumblebee's one true line of speech, and I hope they decide to keep that in any future movies.

I agree. I was thrown off by Bee's voice actually. I was expecting a much younger voice...or at least something that sounded like a teenager and with the way he'd acted throughout the whole movie he just sounded too....mature? I understand he's respectful, but again if he had had a younger voice and still had been as respectful it would have sounded a lot better in my opinion. And the British accent also threw me for a loop. I was like...really? why does he have an accent? Lol.

I also think he'll still be somewhat quiet even with his voice back in the second movie...or maybe his voice still won't be completely healed and thats how he'll still get to use the radio? Or maybe just for fun. ^_^

Bumblebee did better with his radio, rather than doing something with his voice. It made him Bumblebee.

He should have had a slightly younger voice.

But better a British accent than an American accent. :D Just my opinion, but Bumblebee does idolize Prime and a British accent does emphasize the politeness. Bumblebee despite his low rank is one of Prime's most trusted warriors after all.

Maybe, but it made Bumblebee sound like Prime's overly polite butler.

yeah I didn't think BBees voice fit his character at all. It was actually kinda creepy hearing an older mans voice say, "I want to stay with the boy"

I had pictured Bee as more of a teenager, especially with his actions *peeing?* and his crying when he was captured. Or the way he jumps up and points his gun at the sector7 people when they let him go at the hoover dam. He just seemed very young and brash, impulsive even. I just didn't think the voice fit.

Primes low gravely John Wayne sounding voice though, was perfect as always.

I thought the voice was too deep and mature. Perhaps it ought to be more younger?
Oh well perhaps it will be developped on in T2?

Ultimate Bumblebee doesn't sound like Mark Ryan at all. More like the guy who did the lines for the MP Prime that came with the Sound base.

Bumblebee talking through the radio did, as someone else mentioned, give him that "cute" quality and made him very endearing. In that respect, he shares some qualities with G1 Bumblebee. But Movie BB is, of course, a different character. His mannerisms, general attitude, and the way he speaks (once we hear his voice) seems like a nod to AEC's HotShot. All in all, I'd say it makes for a pretty good Bumblebee. His HotShot-esque side could also be construed as G1 Goldbug. It's nice to see Bumblebee depicted as young but not a child. Though I was skeptical at first, I have to admit, I'm becoming more and more a fan of Movie Bumblebee.

I read somewhere that the guy who did the lines for the MP Prime that came with the Sound base was Gary Chalk (BW Primal).

i dont think bb will talk much in the next movie i liked it how he didnt talk much it made up his character more i would have prefured if he didnt talk through so much too its hard to find the perfect voice for a great character its like drawing a picture and then coloring it in some times you just leave it out to make sure you dont reck it but if you do then it could be even better.

ye i think bbs voice didnt match up well with him at all. I expected something yonger and smoother rather than some 50 year old britich guy
