Since it was announced that the Transformers Movie would be released in IMAX theaters we knew additional footage would be seen. However, we had no idea how much. Michael Bay has revealed on his website MichaelBay.com that there will be two minutes worth of additional footaged aired on the IMAX release.

Two minutes, huh?

Can't be too much; unless it reveals Barricade's fate.

I hope it's not more crude humor. Already plenty of that! Maybe it's more Starscream/Megatron interaction...

2 minutes in IMAX is like 2 more entire hours....so a lot could happen, lol.

please dont be human things. I noted that one guy never said that killer robot is really distracting so that might be it. or at least part. On sector seven .org theres a video of blackout attaking in the desert. maybe it will be some of that.

I don't think so,I heard from an interview with Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman his disapperance is a thread for TF2. Also heard a deleted scene that didn't make the cut is that Sam & Mikela break into their school with the Autobots.

How come nobody here is ever just happy for something?

The movie was real enjoyable(at least to me) and a two minute extension, is quite possible and probably two more minutes of enjoyment.

So instead of "sounds intresting" or "hey lets see what we get". All I ever read about (the very rare) bonus we get is, "It better not be...", "Oh God, my raped childhood", and all the other pointless negativity that still won't keep you from shelling out $14 to go see this, enjoy it, and still register your complaints because even though it was good, you got a bad parking space, so Michael Bay must be shot!

Obviously this doesn't go out to all of you. But to those who will take it to heart, all I can say is see it before registering your complaints. I doubt they'd put effort into re-editing this film just to ad one more fart joke.

Should you want to complain about this as too, well, I can't say that I'd be suprized about that either. Go ahead, enjoy your misery, I doubt I'll care!

What I will do though, is go look into local IMAX theaters, think of a girl to invite, and plan a good time.

IMAX is a big-a$$ movie screen, usually 5-6 stories tall. With megawatts of sound blasting at ya from behind the image and all over the theater. We're talking a positively MONSTROUSLY big visual and audio presentation.

The actual IMAX film is pretty huge. It used to only be used for epic documentary films but over the past few years as they've progressively been able to increase the amount of film that can be run during a presentation, it's been used to show a lot of full-length features. Sometimes they're shown with parts of it in really awesome 3-D (some of Superman Returns last year and the final battle in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was done this way).

It's definitely worth checking out if there's an IMAX theater relatively close by (heck I drove 5 hours to see The Matrix Reloaded on an IMAX screen a few years ago and am glad that I did :D )

Just to see Prime up on Imax I'll go. However I do wish that there was more then the two minutes. If they suprise me and have actual transformer footage it'll be worth the price of admission.

As much as I loved the movie and want to remain optimistic, it's gonna probably be 2 extra minutes of something lame and non senseical, having no bearing on the plot. Maybe it's 2 more minutes of the useless hacker sub plot, whoppity doo . No thanks.

The extra two minutes will reveal the fate of the Mountain Dew soda machine robot... which has been placed in there to help pay for the IMAX presentation. Watch the product placement bot dance in one spot for 1min 50sec and then watch a 10 second clip of Prime yelling out "Do a barell roll? No! Do the dew!"

I'm guessing this extra 2 minutes is nothing too spectacular considering Bay hasn't said a single word about it. If it was more TF action (ie: Prime killing Barricade or whatever), I'm sure they would be making a VERY big deal about it. But as it stands now, I'm sure it's nothing more than 2 additional minutes scattered throughout various scenes as opposed to an entirely new scene. Either way, it's definitely not enough to convince me to pay to see it again.

Get over yourself, Liege Evilmus. Not all of us are *complaining* - some of us are simply just stating opinions in a topic that was made into a news headline. Whether you agree with them or not is your problem. Save the snarky comments for something more relevant.
