Arcee is as hot as Elita One is.
In short, phew!
Yeah, she is pretty hot. But in "Transformers" (2007), Megan Fox takes the spotlight, not Arcee.

I don't like Arcee's design because it's "sexy", or supposed to be "sexy" - I like it just because it looks cool. Arcee would be an interesting character to see on the big screen, she has alot of potential and could add alot of variety to the Transformers cast in the movie universe.
I think the problem with alot of fans (of alot of different franchises) is how they see the women heroes. To alot of people, heroines needs to be sexy first, and a hero second. That's just wrong. I can honestly say that none of the reasons I like Arcee are "sexual" (why would they be, she's a robot for cryin' out loud...). I think that's another problem, people seem to be confused when a male fan likes a female character for non-sexual reasons... alot of people don't quite understand it. For example, I also liked Black Arachnia's character in Beast Wars. Again, nothing sexual, she was just a really interesting character, and I believe in gender equality enough to be able to like female characters for the same reasons as male characters. It doesn't have to be sexual.

Unfortunately, Arcee is not the best combat-fighter in the whole of the female Autobot squad, IMO. Maybe it is just me, because I had never seen Arcee fought in a real fight in Headmaster before, she was just stationed at the control base or something and monitor enemy locations and stuff, no real combat was involved for her.

Things can and will obviously change in the movie universe. Bumblebee didn't have too much combat experience (and was an annoying little pissant) in G1 either, but he kicked ass in the movie (thankfully). They are two independant universes, the filmmakers and Hasbro already confirmed that, so just because a character was one way in one series, doesn't mean they are restricted to those personality traits for the rest of the Transformers franchise.

These sorts of topic are the ones that go into the part of this fandom I dislike... Arcee is a robot, I am a human, I find other humans hot, not robots.... I don't exactly understand this part of the fandom but I'm usually willing to over look it's, in my opinion, oddness....
Whatever floats your boat...

Well, actually, if you think about it, it is not that odd. One of the differences that robots have from us is that they look different, like different races do. So are you going to compliment on how you not being turned on if you saw a sexy, black chick walking past by with a g-string and a tight bra?

I think your analogy is flawed. Robots are not different from us because they LOOK different, but because they ARE different. They are their own "species", if you will, since Transformers are sentient living things, they are basically "aliens". Thus humans could not procreate with them. Robots are not like races of the same species, and to say that they are is kind of, well, demeaning, since the essence of your analogy is that a black woman is the equivalent of a robot, she's "exotic"... I heard of objectifying women, but comparing them to
actual objects is a little extreme.
Your analogy would work better if you asked the other user if he would be turned on by, say, a
DOG walking by wearing a g-string and tight bra.

That comment is seriously wrong and ill advised in the aftermath of the whole 'Jazz-theory' thread debacle. If you are seriously trying to argue that finding black girls attractive is just as odd as finding ROBOT girls attractive (that don't exist, i might add, in this case a fictional female character from a movie/cartoon/toy line) then you have honestly got to have a good long look at yourself.
Oh and to add to this, my two cents on Arcee being 'hot'. No i live in the real world where real people talk about real things and deal with real situations where they arise such as commentating on how hot a real woman is as she walks past or i meet her in a group of friends on a night out. I comment on say Lucy Pinder as being hot when i see her in a magazine/newspaper or on the television. I do not find a drawing/animation/plastic character 'hot' in the slightest, seriously, if there are those that do......have you seen a therapist?
I apologize if this is too blunt for some people but i find it disturbing that anyone can even ask such a question.

Why? Explain it throughly, would you? What is wrong with having likings of the appearance of a robot that resembles our humanly structure, like black girls resemble people of your race, except with different skin tones? There is nothing wrong with having a crush on someone that does not exist, but not in the terms of love.

Sorry for the double post, but I just noticed that post (quote).
A dog does not resemble humans. Arcee does.

Black people do not 'resemble' my race, they are OUR race.....the human race, hello? I guess i just don't get my jollies from staring at a caricature.

Hello? They look like us, just like black people look like whities! And yet whities are attracted to the,!

Okay it is obvious to me that you cannot see where your logic is flawed and possibly don't live in the real world. This is a forum for Transformers where we talk about the robot toyline that we have much affection for, however, after the 'Jazz theory' thread debacle i mentioned earlier (funnily enough involving comments relating to Arcee, the topic of this thread) I believe that any discussion that has serious racial undertones should be nullified quickly.
Hell find fictional characters attractive if you want, personally i find it strange. I would not compare fancying a non-existing robot drawing to fancying other human beings (which we all are even with different shades of skin), that has racial undertones that disturb me.

K Prime ur post looks alot like racism-i dont think that is what u are trying to protray=but it si teh way i believ it appears to the rest of the community

It is not racism, just because you do not understand my post, and I do not expect you to understand it. I was trying to compare the differences two separate races have as two different species have differences. And I know it is fictional, but I was trying to say it is okay to have a crush/in frustration on a fictional character, a lot of people have. Try to link the two explanation together.

Black people are not a different race or species from white people.....nor are any other human beings of different skin colors, this is where your logic is seriously flawed. I am a white man, an ex girlfriend of mine was of dark skin color, that had no importance to me.....i was a male human being of the human race who was attracted to a female human being of the human race.
There is simply no comparison to finding a fictional robotic character attractive to finding another human being of different skin tone attractive.

It is how our bodies work! We see a robot lady that looks human to me, but a lot of body features indicates that she is not human, we might be aroused by its popped up circular objects on its chest, too!
