the smartest thing to make soundwave for tf2 is a car or jet that transform into a robot who has boomboxes coming out of his chest lil bit like barricade only with the g1 chest any other ideas?(is my idea good?)

If we put everything based on G1 Transformers, Soundwave was a robot transforming as a boombox. He had "pets" like Ravage and Laserbeak (each transforms into small cassettes).

My idea is that Soundwave transforms into a sattelite.

I'm cool with the idea of Soundwave as some sort of stealth-like jet. It's a slightly different take on his name, but it still relates. As opposed to having a car named Soundwave. Despite being a primarily G1 enthusiast, I'm in favor of fashioning movie Soundwave after Cybertron Soundwave instead of G1.

Can't wait to hear TF2 Soundwave say

I thought some mobile communications vehicle would be more appropriate. Like the kind of trucks the military have.

Soundwave should be a truck and Ravage and co could be motorcycles

Call me oldschool, but IMO, Soundwave needs to be a big CD player boombox with detachable speakers, or a portable bigscreen DVD player, with mass conversion. And don't tell me it can't be done and look believable. Tha Allspark proved it could be done.

I don't think Soundwave will be a boombox since they already used that alt for Frenzy. IMO, I would think they would try to go for something original while still pay homage to G1 in a way. But we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

I'm not so concerned with his shifting size and altmode, but making him fit in with the other designs bothers me. How would he look 'unblocky'?

sw vehicule mode ideas are great but what would ravage and the rest be?maybe sw could be a monster truck and the cassetticon would be motorcycles who transforms into cuboids to fit in sw chest who agrees?

Soundwave just isn't as much fun without his minions. I'm sure most people would like some Ravage and Laserbeak. Personally... I want some Rumble.

Everytime I see that render, it makes me think of Soundwave as a party van.
