Which Autobots and Decepticons do you think should die in Part 2?

I'm hoping for more decepticon's winning
and more autobots losing.

Bumblebee or Prime though should kick tha bucket,
Just for dramatic event...maybe lose starscream too.

kill off OP, and bring in Roddie :P

(thats MY personal opinion, a bit more... reckless leader, more... G1 Rodimus/Hot Rod,more fun than a "I will sacrifice myself" type of leader, like OP)

if for example Shockwave was in the sequel? kill him off, let him get wasted, all guns blazing.

BAAAAD. If you're going to kill OP, kill him in a more fitting movie, like the last of the films. :P

i want the second movie to be nothing but the decepticons kicking ass and taking names...i dont care how many humans get killed or what autobots die or get knocked offline...the next movie needs to show such a brutal battle and conqueuring of earth that the future of mankind and autobots alike is uncertain by films in..

these movies can really be decent if they lost the corny good guys always win cliche....poof

Ratchet should get it, as well as many of whatever new characters should show up.

Do NOT, under any circumstances, kill off Prime, Ironhide or Starscream.

I wouldnt mind if Scorponok got killed.

Starscream is a slipery snake that will live till the very end of the movies, IMO

I also want more meaningfull deaths like a 3 on one decepticon attack, or a sacrifie that has a good result.

and yes, I want more one sided bonecrusher type fights...for both sides....

Megatron rises up as Galvatron, and once again, he dies.
Ironhide and Ratchet also die in battles.

:-?

Starscream will never die. He's a coward who doesn't even deserve a hero's death.
He and Optimus Prime will live through the film, leading a clue to the second sequel.

Bumblebee should die (possibly getting killed by Galvatron in some sort of incredibly heroic manner), to be rebuilt as Goldbug in another sequel. It would definitely get the audience involved - everyone seems to like Bumblebee, including yours truly.

Most girls who saw the movie do like Bumblebee. His death will make them cry.

A good idea to make TF2 a really sad action drama.

I'd chalk off Bumbleebee and Ratchet and bring in Hot Rod

It didnt make any sense to have Bumblebee instead of Hot Rod, they are basically the same character anyway but the whole Hot Rod > Rodimus Prime angle is to big to overlook

I would like to see alot more Autobots die, such as Ironhide, or Bumblebee. It'd just make a good sequel to having almost all the hero's surrvive in the first film.
I'd like to see Optimus get heavily damaged but not necessaryily die.

*screaming on the floor in a overdramatized voice*

Rodimus must get into TF2, and waste OP, then get Galvatron.

Bumblebee and Hot Rod do have some noteworthy differences:

1. Hot Rod is more of a fighter, whereas Bumblebee is more of a spy/infiltrator. For that reason, it wouldn't make sense to have Hot Rod take Bumblebee's role in the movie.

2. Bumblebee is the proverbial David in a battle against Goliaths. Even in the movie, where Jazz is actually the smallest Autobot, Bumblebee still manages to seem smaller on many levels, both because of Jazz's larger-than-life personality (let's face it, how many guys would go around taunting Megatron?), and because of Bumblebee's more subdued and world-wearied movie personality. Therefore, Bumblebee's drama comes from the simple David vs. Goliath situation. That suits Michael Bay's directing style, because it's best shown through action.

Hot Rod, on the other hand, has only ever been a little guy in any sense when you compare him to guys like Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus, which is obviously a very different playing field. Hot Rod's drama seems to come from trying to gain self-control while still keeping his zeal, as well as trying to make up for his mistakes. This is a considerably more complicated thing to show in a movie (probably not helped by the movie TF designs), and with all due respect to Michael Bay, I don't think he could do it.

3. Also, let's not forget that Hot Rod has already had his movie back in the 80s, because the animated movie was basically his movie.

4. Las but not least: I'd daresay that, even before the movie, Bumblebee was more popular than Hot Rod, especially amongst the casual movie-going public. If you had asked the average person before the movie to name three Transformers, I think they'd go with Optimus Prime, Megatron and Bumblebee (assuming they could even name three). Also, there's probably a decent-sized group of people who loathe Hot Rod because he was responsible for teh death of Optimus Prime (I know he made up for it, but I doubt they think of that). I doubt Bumblebee has such a group.

Yeah, there are the basic reasons why Bumblebee was more suited for the movie than Hot Rod. I myself would be interested in seeing Hot Rod in a new movie, but I'm not going to get my hopes up on it.

In the beginning of the movie, Ironhide and Ratchet will die in a Decepticon assault, Starscream will die too :) In the middle of the movie Shockwave and Ultra Magnus (if they play in the movie) will take out each other (they will both die). That's just about it :)

I don't think I could handle Bumblebee dying. What a disaster that would be. Ironhide definitely shouldn't die either. If they brought in a new character, like Sunstreaker (hell, why not another sports car) I could handle them being killed. But never, ever Bumblebee.

well... kill off the autobots, and bring in Rodimus Prime, Blurr, Springer, and Arsecee (woops) and Wheelie..

deceps? Galvatron, Cyclonus and his merry band of Sweeps...and Barricade and Starscream ;/

Scourge is master of the Sweeps, not Cyclonus.

And personally I believe one Autobot should survive through out all the movies unchanged. I personally agree with Bumblebee's upgrade to Goldbug at somepoint, and ultimately Optimus Prime should fall. This leaves either Ironhide or Ratchet. Personally, I am in favor of Ratchet surviving.

And as for new Autobots?

Arcee (2)
Prowl (2, w/ Steel Jaw)
Mirage (3)
Springer (3)
Smokescreen (3)
Bluestreak (3)
