thats simple...
Movie should've had more bots, less human...well maybe not even less humans, but more bots. Transformers afterall is about their interaction with us on earth. Bay isnt God, but I wont say he did a bad job either. He brought our beloved bots to the masses for good or bad. All I can say is, if he did EVERYTHING all the die hard G1 fans wanted, that movie wouldnt be $300 million + right now. I liked it overall and look forward to more in the future.
Animated series...haven't seen it yet, no one has. I may or may not like it, but I know it's made for 4-12yrolds NOT 30+

So if I dont "get it" or like it, I'll chalk it up to being too old. Some of the toys look pretty cool though.
That's my two cents.

Now that i've got your attention, why don't you learn how to create Subject Titles? Really, this is Seibertron, not TFW2005. Everyone on these boards reads posts whether they are popular or not.

banevsbat2, please change the title of this thread to that of the thread's content. You may be trying to attract attention to your thread, but you're attracting the wrong kind of attention. Instead of discussing the subject you created the orginal thread for, all anyone will talk about is the way you entitled your thread, which will undoutbedly end in a flame war, ending in a locked thread, possible warnings and who knows, maybe even a ban.
So please change the title to this thread to something a little more appropriate. Thank you.

I liked the movie, but I would have liked more robots; as most Transformers fans, I'm sure, would have probably preferred. That being said, I thought it did a decent job of (a) appealing to Transformers geeks like us and (b) appealing to the 'summer blockbuster' audience it was also seeking to gain popularity amongst. My only gripe with the movie was the casting of John Voight as the Defense Secretary. Somehow , he just didn't seem to add anything to the movie. Also, on a personal note, I would have preferred more on-screen time for Starscream, but I'm sure they'll be plenty of that in TF2.
