Hi guys i was surfing the web when i found this it a page on wikipidia that says that michale bay has plans to introduce a character in transformers 2/3 that transforms into an aircraft carrier and that tom desanto has plans to introduce the Dinobots, Constructicons, and Soundwave it also says that the transformers themseleves will have more screen time

I dont think that they need the constructicons that would make it to much like the G1 movie even having the dinobots is pushing but that could be really cool i mean imagin giant robot dinosaurs fighting plus soundwave could be really cool if they dont make him to much like G1 otherwise it might get a bit nerdy

and do you think that the dinobots and constructicons should be called just that also should they keep there G1 names and be able to combine?

All Constructicons combining into one gestaldt, but I think there is no need to introduce them one by one. It would take much time and efforts.

Well, some of them could be introduced, for example Scrapper and Scavenger only. And for the rest four, they only have to show their vehicle mode transforming into a gestaldt.

Keep it simple.

will it ruin the small amount of realisum the movie has and that one of the best parts and dose there really need to be 6 of them?

The aircraft carrier rumour has been played since it was revealed that Michael Bay wanted one (even though it had no place in the story).

The others are rumours only, and Wikipedia is about as reliable an information site as the toilet Door of your local Petrol Station.

At this point in time, virtually everything related to TF2 is rumoured.

Wikipedia is updated by people like us, so therefore let's say Joe wanted to go into wikipedia and make a rumor pertaining to a BeastWars movie, he could and people would believe him and cause mass chaos.

Moral of the story is, if it has no proof don't believe wikipedia.

I just don't see how the Constructicons could be used in TF2. With Brawl's name being displayed as "Devastator" in the movie, and with Bonecrusher(one of the original 6 G1 Constructicons) being killed, introducing the Constructicons would seem really redundant at the very least, and probably confusing to the general public.

They will change the name "Devastator" into "Destroyer". And they won't use Bonecrusher as one of the Constructicons forming a gestaldt. Skeletoncrusher does.

according to a USA today poll, the autobots people would most like to see in the sequel were Grimlock, Ultra Magnus, and Jetfire. Soundwave and the Constructicons for the Decepticons.

No, that has nothing to do with it.

You're still thinking about character name accuracy, which is obviously not happening.


If they have the constructicons, why can't they just combine? Why does it have to be a whole new personality and character?

This movie is based not on accurate character information. It's based on the general public's memories. Talk to people you know who aren't actual TF fans. They will say that Soundwave was in the first movie. Why? Because it was "that boombox decepticon". With the constructicons, it will be "that guy that all the construction guys formed".

They either will get new names or some will have names and others cannon fodder.

I read Bay wanted Brawl's name to be Brawl and the Devastator name was a error in the subtitle during the Decpeitcon role call but was too late to fix apparently.

Since Bonecrusher was used, maybe they'll call him Punisher? Punishment? Warbringer?

But for the formed Gestalt..Wrath perhaps? Or Destruction/Destructicon since it's the opposite of Constructicons and is a formed form? I duno.

i they could of atleast fixed it for the imax....but noooooooo maybe just maybe they will have it fixed for the dvd....
