CamaroZ28.com has received word from the Camaro marketing manager regarding an interesting contest coinciding with the release of the Transformers Movie on DVD on October 16th. A special insert will be included with the DVD with a web adress where you can sign up for your chance to win one of three production version of the 2008 Bumblebee Camaro seen in the Transformers Movie.
Read the report by clicking here.
One piece of news I believe is already being circulated that I can confirm is Chevrolet's involvement with the upcoming "Transformers" DVD launch. In the DVD, you will find a special insert from Chevrolet. Open the insert and you find a website address to register for a chance to win one of three actual production versions of the Bumblebee Camaro. The website will offer you the opportunity to sign up for information on the upcoming Camaro launch.
The DVD and the website will be available on October 16, 2007. The sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the U.S. and Canada, except in the Province of Quebec, over the age of 18. Make sure you sign up to win a very unique Camaro and for updates on the launch including upcoming Camaro appearances.

So, is this a proper working car? And does it have an Autobot symbol on the steering wheel? And self tuning radio?
And why do I even care, I don't live in America or Canada?

lol i don't even care for the camaro itself, i'm not really fond of fuel guzzlers, life is expensive enough as it is... BUT get this: you win it, you sell it, that's money in your pocket righ there! Which is the ONLY reason why people go fo these contests...

If you did any research on the car as I have this will NOT be a "gas guzzler". The 09 Camaro will have whats called Active Fuel Management, where as when on the highway the engine will use only 4 of the cylinders, which GM has said will get an estimated 35+ MPG, yet still be able to smoke em' off the line!

The Chevy Impala and the Pontiac Grand Prix (and I think the Pontiac GTO) have that too for their V-8 options. Even if I don't have a good chance, I'm going for the car.

Win the car then sell the car to pay the insurance on said car. Or have one hell of a lawn ornament.

I would be torn... keep it and pay car insurance, tax, title, and registration, and inspections...
or sell it and enjoy the cash (minus income tax).

Dang, I was hoping the contest would be for the toy, cause if I won Hasbro would HAVE to give me one. As is, they are doing everything in their power to prevent me from ever having one.
