Is there a chance that other BW type transformers will show up in the sequel?Scorpinok seemed the appropriate size compared
to the other transformers to be a Predacon.

Not a chance. Dinobots maybe, but hopefully if Grimlock and company show up it's as vehicles and not glorified Jurassic Park castoffs.

And why not? I think it'd be awsome, Not with the metal 'skin' like the DB's, but like the ones in BW.

The first movie left such a realm of open possiblities, I could figure a way to legitemately get the SEACONS in there.

The idea to mix and mash is dumb anyway so I don't think you need to worry. Not to mention too over the top.

BTW have you read the treatment? Its not official but maybe some parts of it might make its way into the final script.

I have read it and it reads OK on paper, some aspects I liked some I did not. Hard to say what bearing it will have on the finished product tho, the plot of TF1 probably sounded alright on paper.

If they want to put in Beast Wars style bots, say, Sam's pet dog, then make him a real animal disguise.

Not some freaking giant metal skeleton like Scorponok.

I remember we saw Rogers' draft for the first script, but did we ever see a treatment for the first film? I suspect that the treatment was originally quite good and somehow degenerated down the line.

It could be interesting to see characters such as Cheetor and Waspinator as partners for the bigger bots, like Scorponok and Blackout, but I wouldn't want to see them as mindless drones like Scorponok was.
Instead I'd like to see them have their own mind in the film and preferably, I would like them not to loose their characteristics. In this sense I guess I wouldn't like BW in TF2, as it may lead to the destruction of characters.

I really don't want to see any Beast Wars characters in the movies. Id rather it remain a totally separate entity and continuity. If by Beast Wars type transformers you mean transforming into organic animals I don't see that happening any time soon either, it would confuse audiences even more than mass shifting.

You know what, leave Beast Wars alone! A Beast Wars movie maybe, but even then I would prefer original characters, Beast Wars was the best TF series yet, let's not put the memory of it to shame.

Thats not a knock against Beast Wars, think of what Bay would do to that series if he were to make a live action movie.

Oh dear lord!
With the Transformers in general its ok, because there are so many continuity's, but when it's specified to Beast Wars, with only one continuity (since IDW's merging of the BW2 & BWn lines with the main BW line), there would be more need to stick to the characters & story shown in the cartoon. Beast Wars has already been ruined once by the creation of Beast Machines, let us not tarnish it's reputation further by letting Bay get hold of it!

I think the Movie can bring in elements from all previous lines of continuity. Including Beast Wars.

There's not gonna be a seperate live-action Beast Wars anyway.
