I just saw Transformers on Imax bring my total viewings to 3. Not enough mind you, but enough to think about #2. It occured to me that there could be one interesting way to introduce Soundwave.

Opening sequence: Decepticones perform reonaissance into the sea to recover Megatron's form/head. Soundwave is brought back via Starscream's exit and scans a Submarine. Submarine deep dives to recover Megs and they begin the re-assembly to a new leader know as Galvatron.

Anyway, I thought the name could almost fit with his (Soundwave) new body and could be a cool new environment for the movie to add to its list. Anyway, just a thought.

It's a god idea, but you seem to forget that no submarine could withstand the pressure, temperature, or would be idiot enough to try, so it's safe to say megs and blackout and whoever else are gone for good....I'd hope...

Don't count on it. If ANY amount of the TF2 treatment is credable *SPOILERMAYBE* Megs isn't even close to dead.

Thus saying "damn plotholes" because you know Bay'll do it just to make God angry and go to crap with physics.

Well, leaving Megatron dead or good would be a shame.

He has the Allspark in his chest, Radical transormation into Galvatron is a must.

I agree. Megs will be back in some form or fashion.

I think a Submarine would be possible. They have abilities to beat certain environments. It would't surprise me what capabilities a cybertonian could have.

Regardless, it's fun to think out the plots and which new bots will be introduced.
