I'm uneasy about this but maybe my fears can be justified.
Buy why are they doing a rush job on the sequal script? And why are there three writers? Also why is Steven Spielberg making an indiana jones movie when he should be working on the transformers2 movie?

Well it's rushed because they're trying to get in before the possible writers strike.

Also because they want the movie in cinemas in under 2 years.

Three writers? Who knows? Apparently the new guy left a pretty good impression and they had to have him.

Spielberg, Lucas and Ford have been planning Indy 4 for over a decade, their schedules finally got together and they started working on Indy 4 BEFORE Transformers came out.

Spielberg however doesn't have much to do with Transformers, he just has a look to see how things are going and offers him suggestions, leaving him plenty of time to work on Indy 4.
