Since Walmart is a pain in the ass, and won't even let employees whose shift ended at 11pm buy the movie til 12:01am, I stayed after work and made sure I had the very first scanned copy to leave our store.

w00t, no thanks to the crappy third shift crew though who apparently have no personalities. Got my Collectors Edition, first out the door.

congratulations! i have to wait another day or so for mine....

Im probally gonna wait till christmas to get it but till then ill repeatibly get it out of video easy.

It's now quarter 'til 1 a.m. here. I'm thinking of going to the Reidsville (North Carolina) Wal-Mart Supercenter - which is like 5 minutes away - shortly to see if they're selling it yet.

But knowing the store like I do, it'll probably be noon tomorrow before they put it out

But what the heck: the night air will do me some good anyway

Lo and behold, they not only had the Transformers DVDs out but had a full-blown cardboard display up!

Alas! No 2-disc special editions... nary a one in the whole store! I wound up getting the Wal-Mart exclusive with Transformers: Beginnings. Have to go to Burlington tomorrow anyway so I'll pick up the special edition at the Best Buy there.

And then my wife will kill me for getting two DVDs of Transformers in a single day

Yeah, we put the display together a week ago, and it's been staring at me and taunting me in the backroom since then. On our display, we only put the Walmart one, to get the Collectors edition, I had to go to Electronics and wait while they unpacked the boxes. Got the first one out of the new stock boxes.

Others were lining up, waiting for them to actually ring up. One guy showed up at 11:45 and the people wouldn't help him til midnight, I told him not to feel bad, I worked there and they were ignoring me as well.

I like my packaging, Prime on front, Megatron on back of the sleeve. Nice effect.
