I couldn't decide which of the "exclusives" to get, so decided to wait to see pictures of the actual sets from members on this board. One of the exclusives that really interested me was the Tin, however there was a lack of pictures from any site. I called around, and only one store in my area had any extras; 2 left, both Decepticon. Which was fine with me, because that's the one I wanted. I figured I'd pick this one up because it'll be harder to get, and I could always get the other versions later. Here are some pics:



The lettering, faction symbol, and border are all slightly raised. The graphic on the back is covered with a paper slip, which should easily come off once the shrink wrap is off. I'm still debating whether I'm going to keep this or give it away. I'm also really interested in the transforming case, but the pictures made me think twice, but I have yet to see it in person. How do you guys think?

i like metal cases a lot, my 3rd pick overall behind Target and walmart. Walmart dvd is a dud like i thought. So i got Target's. The uniqueness of a transforming dvd case won me over. I wonder what the steelbook edition looks like. If I had lots of $ i would get the tin or steelbook -depending what i can get in the U.S. and the Target 2 disc. like i got. No offense, the tin case looks cool, but doesn't do anything.

Yeah, I decided to keep it. Apparently, the tin/steelbook versions are the same thing. Steelbook is the manufacturer. I might pick up the Target version as well. How limited is the transforming case? Should I be in a hurry to get it before it runs out?

don't know how many transforming case editions Target ordered. Better get to one sooner than later b/c a guy i know went today and his store was sold out. You can get it online too. I think they'll be around a few more weeks -don't know about Xmas time though

actually i was pleased to here that fye and suncoast was selling the tin cases if known about that i would have went there the day the dvd was released but it seams to me the autobot logo version is more popular than the decepticon picked the decepticon tin last night fye by me they were sold out of the autobot logo version.

I got my tin case at a local Sam Goody, which is owned by the same people as FYE/Suncoast. The tin is the best case IMO. Simple and cool. I got the Autobot one. They had plenty of both symbols, though. I considered getting the transforming one at Target, but I decided against it when I finally saw it in person.

Looks nice.

I got the target one for 2 reasons.

#1 My suncoast and samgoody closed down.
#2 It is still pretty cool... I mean... a transformers DVD case. :p

I bought the Best Buy exclusive. It came with two Robot Squad toys, one of which is Cliff Jumper. On the back of the package it says that Cliff Jumper appears in the film but I could not find........Any advice?

yeh codename BUMBLEBEE. he's the repaint of bumblebee. if u notice his dooors are the wings just lyk BB in the movie
