After the fight with Starcream, they just kinda vanished until the aftermath. Shouldn't they have been helping prime, or trying to fightin blackout?

yeah, but Rachet could have tended to that. There waz a war going on, i would have thought Ironhide would wanna go back into battle

If you watch it again, you'll see Starscream did a bang up job beating the **** out of them. After that fight you see both of them fall to their knees in pain.

alot of absences during the final battle...ratchet and ironhide both MIA..Starscream(obviously) and barricade and skorpinok...Helping jazz seems like a logical explanation..Starscream did do a number on them though

I kinda wonder why Starscream left after he injured both Ratchet and Ironhide, he had a chance to finish them and yet we seem him later when he blows the helicopter that sam was about to board.

As for Optimus's Absence i can only think of him dealing with Barricade, as Barricade is also missing from the rest of the film, which is a bummer.

Starscream is a coward after all. Once he saw he was the only one left he ran away with his tail fin between his legs.

As much as I loved Starscream in the movie when it came to the battles, it didn't FEEL like it was Starscream. The only hints that he was the character we all know and love/hate was the "You've failed me yet again, Starscream" and his running off at the end. Oh well, at least he layed the smack down.

Hmmmm... Well those missiles of Starscream's are pretty powerful... When Sam was running with the Cube, SS was close enough to take it from him. Why didn't he take it? And I have no idea what was so important for him to leave the Cube... Or maybe he wanted Megatron to take it (so unwise decision).

While I agree SS is a spineless coward, he does seem to have a plan. I believe he did not try very hard to kill the autobots or take the cube for the sole purpose of seeing Megatron fail. I dunno maybe I am digging to far into this.

Starscream laid the smackdown on Ratchet and Ironhide... If you watch the movie carefylly Ironhide sucks, Ratchet is a better soldier than him...So much for having those big guns.

Yeah Ironhide only flipped and dodged like 6-8 missiles coming at him while closing in on Brawl.

Definitely sucks.

You're right, he's good at dodging bullets, but not to good at putting bullet holes in his enemies.

He did have Rachet and Iron Hide's number at first but they started to get the better of him obviously. He took off with the allspark right underneath him. I think after he got his initial shots off on them... he was overwhelmed and had to retreat... much like when Megatron showed up... everyone took off but Jazz got hit hard.

Plus... Starscream had to get back up in the air to take out some planes and of course shoot Magatron on his way out the door

Trust me... Starscream shot Megatron!!! Why the hell wouldn't he???

We'll know for sure in TF2, that's only debatable at this point.

the reason screams didnt' finish them off was I believe to be that he ran away the moment he started loosing. You see him get hit three times in a row then make that stupid alien scream before transforming and flying off after laying the smack down to ironhide and ratchet. Typical starscream behavior, running away the moment the battle turns the tide against his favor.
