I don't understand, plus I don't have the game, but in the game, when Autobots win, the Allspark is shoved into Megatron and he dies, just like the movie.

I saw the Decepticon ending and Megatron himself shoves the Cube into his chest, and survives. Can someone enlighten me  :-?

Game is non cannon, I guess the Game developers just liked the idea/look of the sequence, they dont have to care about it fitting into continuity.

That or perhaps Megatron has some kind of way to "protect" himself from the harmful aspects of the Allspark when he self inserts it. Who knows.

Not even the Movie Writers know what the Allspark can do.

Ahhh, that makes somewhat sense :D

Maybe he can control the energy as it enters, while Sam and Prime shove it in right away?? :-?

I consider it more of the fact that in the movie and autobot ending, it was placed in his spark. In the Decepticon ending he simply absorbs the allspark and it's energy, he doesn't merge it with his spark because he knows that will kill him or whatever.

So he goes about it indirectly, see? A direct link-up would result in him dying, just like in the movie. However, if he were to transfer it, to channel it through something... that would regulate and control the flow of power. Trying to handle getting that much power all at once would be too much for ANYBODY. It'd be like all of a sudden deciding to lift weights like a professional bodybuilder. It'd be like hitting yourself in the face with a brick! You don't just start with the full deal. That'd result in some serious hurt. You build up to it, getting your body used to handling that bit by bit. You know, give your systems time to adjust to it. And you dang well better believe it wouldn't exactly be easy on you.

Maybe it's like sword-swallowing. Sword-swallowers can 'swallow' swords but if one shoved a sword down their throat they'd be putting down their cup and saucer without a doyley.
