Admit it.... the soundtrack totally sucks my balls!
The Score was cool... very "Bayish" but seriously cool. Jablonsky kicked ass on this movie. The Scorpinok and Megatron themes, the Autobots arriving... all sweet. But that damn soundtrack.... all lame artists, all lame songs. I've heard way better renditions of the Theme song as well. I hope next time they make changes to their lineup.

yeah I hear yah on that one. I was really disapointed when I went through it on Myspace to see what song it was that sounded awesome during the Barricade/Bumblebee chase scene, and that was REALLY dissapointing. As soon as the singer started singing it was like "oh god, this song is terrible". Some of that new my chemical **** emo music. Yuck!

I'm glad you liked the score.
Agreed that the Soundtrack did indeed blow chunks.
Considering the majority of songs in the Soundtrack were never heard on screen, and a pretty bad cover of the Transformers theme was chosen.
There still needs to be a CD of all the songs Bumblebee played to "win over" Mikaela.

Yep, the soundtrack is horrible. Contains one of the worst renditions of the Transformers themes I've ever heard.

yeah why wasn't the blacklab rendition of the TF theme used for the movie?

The orchestral version from the TF: Armada PS2 game would've fit the best, imho.

I love that one! I'm tired of hearing bands cover the theme...

When I was hunting down a copy of the score, a lot of the local store employees thought that I wanted the soundtrack. I said I do not need it but the score. They looked at me in a very strange way because they have not heard the score.

I don't even know what songs are on there any more. I remember doing the same things as the person above... I looked at it on myspace and sampled the soundtrack wanting to smash my computer. All I know is I never want to hear those songs again.
Next time... please... come out with some good ****...
YES!!! BLACKLAB!!! THAT IS REALLY THE ONLY COOL ONE I'VE HEARD SO FAR. I forgot the name... thanks for reminding me.
Even though the soundtrack blew chunks I was still pleased once in the theater when I heard the frenzy air force one theme, and the Scorpinok theme. Then the one where Sam is on the building. Oh... the one when the Autobots arrive, Jablonsky rocks! At least he did for this one. I was so glad you hardly hear the soundtrack at all in this movie cause it could have wrecked the movie for sure.

I wasn't impressed with the so-called "sountrack" when the track lists were made public. I haven't bought what is in reality the album, have no intention of doing so, and have told people NOT to get it for me.
I have heard the samples of the score on Amazon.com and I know I want to buy it. I'll be looking at Target tonight, along with the three POTC soundtracks.

I'd love to see someone "bumping" in their tricked-out "wanksta" ride listening to "baby come back" or "who's gonna drive you home" or "sexual healing."
Come one... if you really want to listen to those songs you better not fricking pay for them... go find those on the net for free. Anyone who would go out and buy those songs needs a swift kick in the nads!
They were funny for the scene... and they were better than the songs on the soundtrack... but admit it.. you'd never buy that soundtrack if they were included.
They need to get into some heavy metal **** and some electronic and stay away from this pussy ass bitch band music. Allthough... I'm led to believe that 13 year olds like that crap. Anywho.....
Get some System of a Down or some Deftones going.... anything else!!!

In terms of finding a copy of the score, it is very hard to find. I got mine from Amazon, who is on back-order. About 2 months ago, I read somewhere that if the score sells very well, they will develop a CD with more of the music that was intended for the movie.

Hey, you don't have to break my arm. I would have been the first to admit it if I saw your thread soon enough.
I don't own the "soundtrack", and needless to say, once I saw the movie I never had any intention of buying it.
However I have listened to the score countless times through since I got it the day after the release.
By the way the score is currently in stock at wal Mart .com

I liked a few of the songs. The one featuring Mike Chinoda was pretty decent. "What I've Done" by Linkin Park is good. Pretty Handsome Awkward is decent. You're right that the lyrics kill it. And Disturbed's "This Moment" is awesome.
And Mattamus. Watch your language. All foul language does on this message board is make the poster look inferior and unintelligent. So tone it down a notch please.

Anyway it doesn't suprise me. To this day I haven't found one good soundtrack that I can sit down and listen through the whole way. I bought the MI2 soundtrack after hearing the Metallica song and seeing all the good artists on it, but that got old REAL quick. Best soundtracks IMO are Daredevil and Punisher, but even both of those i Can't sit down and listen to the whole way through. Sad how some of the worst movies have the best soundtracks.
Nope....
