I've decided to put my car up for sale on eBay. Time for something else. Maybe a new Mustang to do a Barricade out of?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 38716&rd=1Wish me luck!

I can't believe you want to sell this AND that you're located so close to me (I'm in Marietta).
It's like fate is taunting me.

Having a little diffaculty with the fenders linning up? My neighbor and I did the fender swap to his 74 and it looked about the same. I think we had 6 or 7 body shims as well...Won't be doing that again. The car does look nice though, minus the trunk lip

The fenders are the originals with the Z28 vents cut in. It's not possible to put 78-81 fenders on a 74-77 unless you change the front bumper as well. No wonder your neighbors didn't line up.
Quality control in the 70s wasn't exactly priority number one at General Motors. F-bodies rolled off the line with sagging doors, crooked trim, misaligned panels, etc.

To be honest, I am quite surprised that the word F-body appered. YOU ARE A TRUE FAN!!!! And yes we did change the front bumper and valance. as well as the inner fender supports. I have a 68 and an 02 that sit very nice next to eachother in the garage. Check out Camaroz28.com I think you'll like it. No kids around posting up crap all the time

SWEET!

All you need now is a "bee och!" air freshener with an Autobot logo on the stearing wheel and you're good.

Wow...my car has been pretty popular! Now that the reserve is met I'm kinda having second thoughts of really selling it.

Why would anyone want to sell a piece of classic American muscle? Selling this won't get you what you need to get the 2005 Mustang or the Saleen body kit and we aren't even talking about Saleen tuning.

I can't believe you're going to sell this car

There's no way I could let go of something like that...it's a gorgeous muscle car, and now it's a movie icon! *keeps oogling it*

I'm also in the "don't sell it" camp! It's not too late to take down the auction and keep it. I think you'll be kicking yourself later if you let it go for what the bid's at right now. Besides, don't you think you could get a LOT more than $6k if you sold it outside the next BotCon or ComicCom?
Of course, if you really NEED to get rid of it, you could just give it to me...

I agree with the others before me. This car is priceless and I would not sell it if I had it.
I'd just make my coworkers jealous with it.
No, wait, that's what I'd do if I win one of three '09 camaros.....

It's up to $6400... still not nearly enough IMO. You could get so much more for it if you listed it where TransFans congregate rather than on eBay! Unless there's a bidding war at the last minute, you're giving this thing away...

Thanks for all the kind words. We'll see what happens in the last few hours....
