i dont know if this has been posted at all. it more then likely has. i was on imdb and this was the plot they had

"Megatron is dead, and the Autobots now live on earth in peace. However, in a distant galaxy, Starscream has declared himself the new leader of the Decepticons, which angers those loyal to Megatron, particularly Soundwave. Soundwave, who is able to give life back to fallen robotic organisms, leads his own band of Decepticons to earth to resurrect Megatron. To make matters worse, Starscream has heard of an energy source birthed from the Allspark by Sector 7, and he leads his own band to earth as well to take that source of energy. However, Soundwave cannot complete the resurrection without another energy source known as the Creation Matrix, which just so happens to be in the possession of Optimus Prime. With one band of Decepticons closing in on Optimus Prime and another band of Decepticons looking for the ultimate power, the Autobots, as well as Sam, Mikaela, and the former members of Sector 7, find themselves caught in the middle of a Decepticon civil war that could ravage the planet, and they must fight their way out of it in order to save the human species from extinction. Written by Anonymous "

i kinda like this plot...i can see it working.... any thoughts on it?

If it was written by anyone called "Anonymous", more than likely it's fake. While it does sound feasible and interesting IMO, it's entirely unofficial and, therefore, should be taken with a grain of salt.

I could comepletly live with this plot. Good motivation for both groups of villains, builds on plot elements from first film, leaves posibility for Galvatron (who should wait until TF3, so we don't have two movies in a row with Megs revealed at the end.) As long as the writers are on strike, why don't we write it? A script by the Fans, of the Fans, and for the Fans? We just copyright it and send it in to Dreamworks when it's done?

I'll be darn shocked if that actually turns out authentic!

Sounds like the script treatment which Don Murphy stated was not going to be used, although it was considered at some point. Not sure where it is, but one of these threads has that discussion in it.

I reiterate: everyone had nitpicks about the first one. The writers are on strike. A good number of us have written fan fiction. Let's do this, let's write the script!!! A community effort, bringing us the movie we want!! Break the Hollywood system! Up with the common man! THE WORKER WILL RULE!!!!! (Alright, I got a little carried away there...)

Yes, it's that script treatment Don Murphy debunked already...

Move along folks, nothing to see here...

Nevermind the huge plot hole being Soundwave's ability to "give life back to fallen robotic organisms".

Surely if he could do that then the Decepticon numbers would never dwindle and the Autobots would have been wiped out years before they found their way to Earth. ;;)

With the big strike comming up in 08 We'll take what we can find I guess. One grain of salt with a side of sugar please

Going by this idea... a decepticon civil war might not be too terrible an idea. Not sure if I can accept the "Creation Matrix" idea (it sounds kinda corny to me), but it does give way for Megatron to become Galvatron. Not sure that I want a Galvatron reincarnation.... but since that always seems to happen in the various shows I suppose that I can't just ignore this idea either.

It would have Soundwave in it, too. *grin*

But Sector 7 was also disbanded. Where would this new energon supply come from?

So many question. Brain... hurt.... ahhh! :boom:

So there are more of them? Where have these ideas been found? I try useing the search button for this forum, but I can not get that thing to work at all!!

Dude, I am so down for this!!! I think it could be a fun little fan project. We could have voting threads were people vote for fave characters that they want in it, we could have various people come up with different plot ideas that could be dissected and discussed....

I mean, who better than to come up with ideas than the fans themselves? And with such a huuuuge group I think it's fairly possible that a script could be created with little no know giant plot holes. I mean, I do enjoy the movie, but the plot holes make the movie look like a virtual piece of swiss cheese.

I'm in too. But there's no way it will be accepted. However, I would love to have a basis of comparison, sort of an "I told you so" when the real one turns out to be crappier than ours. :-P

My only concern is there would be so many compromises, and I don't see them being reached. For instance, I want the constructicons because they are classic, iconic of a generation's memory of TF's, and huge. But some people seem to think that huge is bad.

But I'm in.

I guess the first step would be to start a nomination thread for autobots and decipticons, and then work onto a voting thread. This wil be so awesome! (Insert evil grin here.)

I already made a thread with my ideas on the top page. I suppose I should have ran a nomination, but that can be done in my thread as well, or in a seperate thread for that purpose.

I got your PM message. This is gonna be so entertaining.

Compromises are not necessarily a bad thing. Hell, maybe if we get even more ideas being generated we could create more than one script. I mean, why not? Comparing them with the second movie will make it that much sweeter.
