All the movie Transformers were awesome. I applaud the designers.

He looked like the Devil himself, dude! If it's possible to rawk harder than that, I have never seen or heard an example of it.

I concur. He looks like a devilish scrapheap of evil, but it's still cool.

Of course, all the transformers in the new movie looked like awesomely organized heaps of scrap metal. But their designs: still cool.

When I first saw the designs on paper, I really hated them. But seeing them in action, I've grown to like them quite a bit.

I only have <a href="http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2bYqucANu3w">one problem</a> with the Megatron design...

I kind of always liked how G1 Megs looked like he was wearing a Nazi helmet. I would have prefered they incorporate that a bit. But I guess his new look will grow on me. Hopefully not on my face.

At first, the movie version of Megatron bummed me out, but after re-watching the movie several more times, I'm kinda getting used to it. I do hope he takes on an earth vehicle mode in TF2, but I think that kind of goes without saying.

As far as the Megatron movie toys go, I think the Leader class one is lame (too many gimmicks!) while the Voyager class version, minus the "frosty ice ****", is pretty much a must-have for any fans of evil.

I hated all the movie designs too, but the movie was alright.

I liked the movie Megatron design, to be honest. The only thing that I would have changed would have been to add the fusion cannon to his arm. The cannon on Megatron's arm is pretty iconic; it's one of the things that makes him Megatron. Either that, or his right arm could have transformed into a cannon, rather than pieces of his arms breaking off and transforming into a pistol.

I like that idea of Megatron being able to transform his right arm into a cannon. That would've been cool.

I mean, Prime had the option of wearing/using his battle mask thingy (Yes, I did say thingy). And I think his mask is one of those things that makes him Optimus Prime. Though, I would've liked it if the mask was stuck on his face for the whole movie. Oh noes! The G1 purist is coming out! Just kidding!

it's his toy that sucks it looks nothing like his movie design. I hope they bring Megs back give him an eaarth form and keep him till the third where he has a huge fight with Prime and then he becomes Galvatron because what would thew point be to bring him back only to kill him again?

Broke off? I thought his arms combined together to form a giant barrel.

I thought the design looked horrible on paper, but when I saw it in action I thought it fit perfectly for Megatron. But you aren't the only one who hates it, trust me, at least 2 million others have posted threads on the same thing! I mean litereally I think there are at least 2 million threads in this forum about the exact same topic so please use the search function next time

I like the Megatron desgin for the movie BUT if i could change TWO THINGS i would make his fusion cannon STAY OPEN WHEN YOU SLIDE THE LEVER BACK! and I would MAKE HIS HAND POP OUT ON HIS RIGHT ARM!

Megatron did not look like Megatron, and I say that even after having watched the movie in IMax, original theaters, and my home. Yes, I liked the movie. It had amazing special effects. It did not do justice to the Decepticons, though, since it turned them into monsters instead of characters. Before the movie, people moaned about all the designs. I warmed up to all of them except Megs. My only consolation is that hopefully, he will stay dead.
