I can't recall Barricade dying at all in the movie? I know Bumblebee wasted his ass the first time, but I remember seeing him later on in the movie. Can anyone pin-point the time he died in the movie? Who the heck killed him?

I did not seen the IMAX version but several people on another board indicated that he did not die. With the theater version, we do not know if he died during the highway scene or not.

Thanks. I kept hearing that Starscream was the only Decepticon to survive.. but I guess those people weren't right at all.

From what I've heard, in the novelization he got taken out by Prime. But as for strictly the movie I believe he is still around. I hope so, I enjoyed his character and would like to see his return in the sequel.

I'm assuming the gunships didn't actually kill him since he went underground after he lost his tail.

Yeah thats true Barricade, Scorponok and Starscream didn't die and for more proof of Starscream not dieing watch the credets.

I believe Barricade survived. The novelization came out WAY before the movie, so I doubt it was finalized at the time. Besides, wasn't Barricade BEHIND Bonecrusher when he took out that bus and effectively blocked the road in its entirety? If that was indeed the case, and I believe it is, he probably couldn't even GET to the fight... assuming he didn't crash into the bus!

Barricade died in both the Novel and the comic book versions of the film and there was rumer that his death was filmed but it was edited out of the final cut because Bay felt that a bit of mystery would to feed the antisapation for the next film.

He didn't die...

if you read the comic book adaptation and i believe it's in the novel version of the movie too Barricade gets decapitated by prime after prime kills bonecrusher..

Starscream, Scorponok, and Barricade are the only ones that didn't die!

Correction, he was not shown to die, but neither was he shown to live.

Yet in the 2 official Movie adaptations he is killed...

Guess TF2 will have the final say, on whether he lives or dies, depending on if he shows up or not.

Nah, i doubt the scriptwriters would have learnt how to fill plot holes by then either so the sequel will be full of them as well.

ok noob guess what? we didn't see him die in the flic now did we? and alot of things are diff from the novel to movie so ur point is null and void. Until we see proof in the next movie, he's not dead. And why Prime was late could be exlpained, he and bones fell down quite a ways, so he would either a) climb back up and risk being discovered by more humans and/ or hurting humans, or b) having to drive back up the ramps.
