I was really bored and looking around wikipedia. I found this info on Ratchet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ratchet_(Transformers)#2007_Transformers_film

I wonder how they came to that conclusion. I wonder what else ratchet can do that we do not know so far?

Just saying, don't always beleive wikipedia.
It's interesting, but seldom fact.
Although I can Imagine Ratchet having them.

Well if you've read the novel he does something diffrent in the ally.I wont tell you just incase(sp?) you have not read it yet.

Exactly right, anyone can edit wikipedia and create whatever they want that is grounded little if at all in facts, it's very over rated.

Exactly right, anyone can edit wikipedia and create whatever they want that is grounded little if at all in facts, it's very over rated.

So that's why I once found a picture of an erect penis in their article on Stalin... :-?

I still give credence to Wikipedia's legitimacy in general. Encyclopedia Britannica (which is revered as probably *the* best) was proven to be about the same quality as Wikipedia.

Is the book the unedited version of the movie? I never bothered reading it thinking it was just the same as the movie. I like to read though so if it is different I will go and get the book.

Yes, the ending is quite different, with another scene involving Trent (Mikaela's boyfriend) getting his comeuppance (as small as it may be) among other small things.

I only briefly flipped through the book, but what I did see, I liked, and what was cut from the book...makes me a sad panda.

Seeing as how Ratchet is the medic, x-ray eyes could come in handy as long as the injured Transformer didn't get his paint job in China.

On what, though? I don't think he actually attended to any injuries in the movie. And he wouldn't have needed to x-ray Bumblebee's throat because he had already examined him.

Yes do tell about the extra scenes! I went to the library to see about the book. Usually they are really good about having books or getting them. I told her what I was looking for. The librarian looked at me with a baffled look and said they made a movie about transformer. UUUUUHHHH yeah it was a huge hit. "Huh" she says "I never heard of it". So it will be forever before I can to to the city to buy a copy. So do tell!

I had thought everyone knew about the movie. We had our youth movie night at church and they show Transformers. guess which mom volunteered to help :grin:

Me pass up Transformers on a huge screen with theater sound? Not likely. Everyone I have asked about which movie they like best this year so far and everyone said Transformers. There were people who did not like the cartoon or toys yet really liked the movie. Some people around here really do not watch television or go to movies I guess she was one of them.
