Are you guys hoping that the TF theme like what Lion played in the '86 movie makes a comeback in TF2? Maybe without the words, just have some metal band play it during a huge fight scene

I wouldnt want the Lion theme. its too 80ish(here comes the flames)
I do really like the Black Lab cover.
I think it'd be really cool if Steve Jablonsky made a score version.

It would work best as a small cameo, like the Lion song briefly playing on some bystander's radio. Similar to the Spider-Man series song in SM2, keep it subtle and unobtrusive.

The Black Lab cover would work perfectly, with no words, just the music itself, maybe backed up by some orchestral sound.

The Lion transformers theme let alone the whole 86 movie sound track works well for the cartoon movie, I own both the soundtrack and the 86 movie.
I love them both for what they are but I think if it were to be used in any of the Bay transformers movies it should be subtle, maybe altered a little to give it more of a modern feel to it as it certainly would not go well left as is with the current soundtrack or musical score associated with the first Bay movie.
The original transforming sound effect when we first saw Blackout was almost completely unaltered at least from my perspective, in the final battle Ironhides transformation was heavily altered but I think it worked very well and that's one of my FAVORITE scenes when he transforms, fires his weapons at the same time and propels himself forward. I always laugh everytime I hear the Lion cover of the theme from the '86 movie when they get to the part where they sing about "the evil Unicron" because it sounds more like they are singing "the evil unicorn".

I could just imagine Lion traveling in their touring panel van to get to gigs, with the airbrushed fantasy art on the side and right in the middle is an evil unicorn.

You left out the part when the van doors open up a huge cloud of funny smelling smoke comes pouring out! just kidding.

Ok, heres what I meant. As bad as I hate Armada, go watch an episode and listen to the background TF theme that plays during alot of the battles. Thats what I meant.
