For the love of Primus.
That should be kinda obvious....but, not everyone is a car freak like me!

Thing is, Leige is right, they need no Earth chemicals.
Be happy they weren't a Toyota Tnundra and FJ cruiser.
*shudders*
Imports bad.

Yeah, but don't TFs use Energon, not pathetic Earth fossil fuels?

What do you want Ironhide to do, scan a Prius and super-inflate himself to giant proportions to be eco-friendly?

And for the record, Ironhide still gets 10 times or better the mileage Brawl would be getting as an M1.

Two very vailid ponits The Hummer H2(ROCKS!) and the GMC topkick don't have good gas milage but Rachet and Iornhind don't need to use fule because they spin there wheels which is like runing for them really. :D

ummmmm ... am I the only one who interpretted this as "Ratchet and Ironhide chose vehicles with a poor gas-to-mileage ratio" and not "Ratchet and Ironhide chose alts and now high consuming gas guzzlers"?

He's just pointing out a little fact about the alts chosen that's all.

It matters because the movie is advertising gas guzzlers.

And it's not just an environment issue, it's a stupidity issue as well, as people think these cars ROCK so they buy them and then waste finite resources.

But it is mostly the environment, and it's probably the only bad thing I see about TF's being a giant advertisement for GM.

And no, I don't like Prius. The car I drive now is my mom's old subaru which is a good car, but it's not what I want. What I want is an old bug that I can fix up myself and give it a really good engine. It would be a fun project to really learn engines and cars since I know next to nothing about them now.

No, infact Starscream has the worst if you wanna get technical.

That should make Megatron (only purely Cybertronian) as the most environmental friendly. Heh, who knew?

Hmm ... I say Movie BB does ... remembering a scene when fuel was dumped.

That was a lot of fuel! He didn't go anywhere either ... 0 MPG. :P

Yep, it would be Starscream ... for sure.

Megatron is cybertronian, much more advanced than our society ... so it's gotta be more efficient, relatively.

I don't think he'd appreciate you calling him friendly.

Megatron would probably go burn the rainforest or something to prove that he's bad for the environment. :P

But he has an excuse. :P
You'd imagine that they would need Earth fuel just to keep from looking suspicious.

Yeah, sure, and why would that happen?

I noticed all the autobots were High performance rear wheel drive vehicles. Only one that acctually has good fuel economy would be jazz with 22 and 29. I imagine Bumblebee gets 16 and 22 if he's got the 6.0 LS2 motor.

If thats the case how do you explain Bumblebee's classic body haveing such a new engine and a new exsust system????

Those arent standered on cars from 1977.And yeah maybe the car that BB scaned had been rebuilted by the owner with the new stuff but then why would the car still look like a hunk of $h*t???

Anybody willing to spend the money to change all those's parts would have givven it a new paint job.

Not necessarily. Maybe it was an on-going project and the owner had spent all the money on engine mods and nothing on the body. Or like many people do spend all their attention on the engine and forgot the bodywork till last. This makes sense since old BB had primer on his paint job. This suggests the original car he scanned was already being worked on.

Or maybe the guy was building a sleeper. A high performance car that looks like junk. I've wanted to build one for years.

Both cases can be true but why would a new exsust system kick up the amount of smoke BB had when Sam drove off from his parents house?

To me that meens that they have control over all their systems and therefor can not be the systems of the cars they scan.

I love them, but don't have the heart to let a car sit lookin' bad.
I remember this '72 Nova I saw. Ugliest blue paint, broem primer spots, gray primer hood, crappy rims, and boring spoiler.
But it pulled a 9.3 on the 1/4 mile. =P~

That's what I'm talkin' about. Like Bart Simpson said, "No one ever suspects the butterfly."
