will megatron speak any words? even if they do get frank welker to do the voice
who thinks if they take franks voice from where prime and megs are fighting
on the dam wouldn't that work like they did in season 1

get it, rotton milk? spoiled..like spoiler? eh forget it, anyways, the leaked script gives megatron a few lines...if thats still in the script we dont know..but id assume so becauase if bay was to say "hey everyone, remember how you all were so adament about having welker come back as megatron, and how we've been keeping all of you on the edge of your seat, well.....megatron doesnt have any lines, sorry"

What really makes me angry is, given what I know (I haven't read the leaked script) this fact throws the whole "Megatron-Starscream" dynamic out the window. Which is too bad, because the writers promised us that their rivalry would be retained. I hope I'm just misinformed, because my favorite G1 subplot, one that the writers said would be in the movie, is thrown out the window.

well maybe it's retained in the sense that Starscream has the lines that elude to the plotline of him someday taking over. might not necessarily be Megatron slapping him around once 'scream starts getting mouthy.

Megatron doesn't have much lines, which is strange as Bumblebee can't speak.
I hope Starscream has a good voice, that's fits Starscream's personality, but I won't be shocked if it isn't.

This whole movie is strange, but I think it's going fun still.

It's possible they may just speak in 'Cybertronian' but, seeing as how they've been saying they haven't decided on who'll voice Megatron, that's probably not the case.

Starscream coming to Earth in order to free Megatron pretty much screws the entire dynamic to begin with.

Not necessarily, starscream may simply want to wipe out his competition, and besides haven't they been drifting in space for like eons, how does ss even know Megs is on Earth??

I think the rivalry will be in robot-body language and SS and Megs won't speak, which will suckass!!!!! majorly!!

I had thought the same thing, to be honest.

I've read the script but can't quite remember if it gave a reason for Megatron being in the ice. What trapped him there?

Who's to say Screamer isn't in charge already? I mean, Meg's is supposed to be frozen for a while during the movie. and you can look at this for proof

So, there's no telling how long Megatron will be out of commision. Whatever. I haven't read the script either, so I guess I'll just have to find out on july 4.

I havent read the script, but here is my theory as to what could happen: Starscream goes to rescue Megatron. After Megatron is rescued, he does his evil badguy stuff for a bit. Somewhere during that time, either Starscream starts getting delusions of grandeor (sp) and now feels that whatever Megatron does, he can do better and tries to take his place. Or Megatron mistreats him badly enough that Starscream wants to get revenge and starts plotting against Megatron. This could happen either in this movie or the sequel. Maybe Starscream starts to plot against him in the sequel, which may not be bad in a way, as a lot of time could be devoted in the movie showing how and why he turns traitor. Or lastly he could be plotting all along, and rescuing him is just a ruse to get on his good side for a while.

He might not show a lot of his double crossing in this movie, but if there is a sequel, he most likely will in the next. But then I haven't read the script, so I don't know.

Maybe starscream comes pretending to rescue megatron but really wants to put him out of commission/ steal something he has with the help of unknowing decepticons. When starscream gets close enough to steal it, something happens (autobots show up?) and one of the other decepticons brings megatron back to life true to the "mission" and ruining starscreams plan.

all die except for Starscream, leaving his despise for Megatron open for discussion in the sequel.

Starscream doesn't die, well that's different! Aww, I was hoping he would get acid on his face and chicken feet, for a better looking new face and feet, hopefully Megatron will do this

Or even if he doesn't get fixed from the acid attack he will still at least look better then what he does now.
