Well that illicited some friendly responses. And I thought some of the people here were bad.

I envision this movie being in the cheap bin a few months after it's dvd release.

If they were here, I think the mods would get carpal tunnel syndrom for swinging the BanHammer so many times.

if transformers sucks at the box we know why because of this.

poeple get things so mixed easly when they dont know anything or understand anything when the film is released in thearters one person will go see the matrix and the other will go see scary movie making fun of the matrix and the the confused one who saw sacry movie would hate the matrix because it was in scary movie when they should have see the orginal matrix and would like it that was just confusing to me i was never good at making point across who ever could understand this response thumbs up to them office when it really could have hit the top 5 or better.

I hate knock offs to the orginal films its the knock offs the make the orginal films look terrible and make poeple hat the orginal film to begin with becaus of the knock ooff films they should put a big label on this dvd stating this film has NOTHING to do with TRANSFORMERS what so ever.

Returner < this is a good transformer knock off that wont ruin the tranformers name. But TransMorphers might ill get this film it looks ok... good cover looks to much like a comicbook cover

In all fairness, we're going to be seeing a lot of this type of stuff. Whether or not Transformers is a great movie, it's going to start a Robot Revolution that will send the brand off the charts, and allow other brands - some original, some not-so-much - to launch.

I think it's also going to spur renewed interest in Voltron and a Voltron movie, as well as other of those types of properties.

Transmorphers though...? What...?

Anyway, there's going to be a lot of people taking advantage of the robot trend that Transformers will create. I'm actually one of them, and while I'm not attempting an advertisement here (thus I won't even add the URL here to avoid any infringement on board policy), the property is called Machina, with this incarnation called Machina: Revolution. It's basically X-Files meets Star Wars meets Star Trek meets Transformers meets Robotech, and centers around several races of humanoid robots and no humans whatsoeever. We're starting online animated comics in the summer, I'm working on a soundtrack soon, and there will be a full book later this year or next year. So... par example I suppose. LOL.

If anyone is curious about more let me know, but I'm not putting details or weblinks on this board. I don't think that would be right.

I think we'll see a lot of this robot stuff really coming to the fore soon.

What was that other solid movie about transforming robots again? The.... pacifier or something like that. It pretty much had Movie Starscream in it. It was good if I recall too.

The Returner. The aliens vehicles barely transformed into an assault mode or something. Besides that, they were in the movie maybe all of 10 minutes.

It was solid for an english re-dub of an asian movie.

YES!!! That's the movie. My local 7-11 had it on sale for $5 so a friend of mine bought it and we had a pretty good laugh at it.
