If Michael Bay is doing the next movie, I can't really in vision any of the sports car transformers being nothing but concepts.

Why? Well, it's just an alternate mode that's earth-like, but no one else has seen before. I'm pretty confident not too many people knew what the '09 Camaro or the Solstice was until the movie and its figures came out.

Whether it be a BMW concept, or a Ferrari one, or heck.. maybe even a Concept SUV, who knows what we are going to see in TF2!

Your thoughts?

The solstice wasnt a concept, and it was already on showroom floors well before the movie was out.

Haha, that's makes sense, seeing as it wouldn't be a concept if it's name was already the Solstice.

I thought it was already confirmed that Bay is not doing TF2.

Actually I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that Bay is doing TF2.

In a huff he backed out when paramount did the whole HD DVD 18 month exclusive with the release of the transformers dvd then very shortly later within 24 hours I believe he changed his mind and said he was back on to do it again.

Using concept cars is a good move. These concepts will come out into production soon anyway. So it's like using realistic alt mode. But extending the life of the design.

When the next generation of cars comes out, which will be these concepts, the current TF toys won't be outdated.
