Why not #1 is far beyond me, but in yearly gross Transformers ranked number 3 on the top ten list!

To bad that Spider-Man and Shrek where no where near as good, but I guess they have an established following.

We'll take #1 come TF2!!!!

In fact, most the trilogy movies were not very good. Spidey 3 and the Emo Peter Parker.., Shrek wasn't what I hoped, and POTC 3 just plain sucked compared to the previous two. And screw that Potter guy, I almost had to buy one of those damn movies for someone for christmas. Instead I got them something else because I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

Gross aside: I could only see 300 being competition. Lots of gore and violence and no teen love story vs. giant robots from space with lots of violence and teen love story. Hmm. It'd be close for me. 300 more epic IMO, but Transformers more fun.

Spider-Man and Shrek did suck, and I bet if more people knew that before hand, they would be alot lower o the list if on it at all, but you know, theaters don't give refunds :-x

As for Pirates, I loved one, hated 2, and thought 3 was actualy enjoyable, not as good as 1, but it far from sucked :)

Spiderman 3 is a big disappointment.

Pirates series belongs to the trash bin.

Transformers at #3 is commendable. But could have been a lot better. I'm not completely satisfied with what Bay did to the movie. I hope TF2 will be better, and Bay can be more open-minded.

Eh, forget Shrek.

I loved Spiderman 3 and nothing changes my mind on it. And yeah, you can get a refund if you leave during the movie. So you can watch some of it, decide you hate it, and get your money back.

I remember the Pirates fans (and boy do they get crazy) saying they'd beat Spidey. Ha, not even close. And HP didn't even break 300 mil.

But I have to say that Transformers is my favorite movie of the year. Though now I overdid it and can't watch it for a while..

That sad news is, he signed up for TF2. After all those HD-DVD trash talk, he's still in the game.

But it may not be all that bad. If he learns from the first Movie.

Don't forget everyone that Transformers did what it did on less than half the screens, about 4000 screens in the usa and Harry Potter had over 9000.

Harry potter did better worldwide but in the usa it fell far shorter than transformers.

Spider man 3 sucked and a lot of people were bitching about it but people still went because of the name sake alone, I waited for the dvd release though.

I've not seen Pirates three yet though.

Transformers was 3rd place in the usa and Transformers ranked in 5th place for the entire world in 2007 and according to box office mojo it earned just under 703 million dollars worldwide.

I didn't mind Spider-Man 3. It was POTC I couldn't stand. I didn't even pay attention to it after about half an hour through. Shrek 3 was also a disappointment. More of the same been-there-done-that. Transformers wasn't too bad.

Yup. Pirates is pure thrash. Not fit for human viewing.

I feel cheated of my time to even watch this kind of trash.

This ranks as among the worst of the worst movie ever produced.
