Transformers Movie – Japanese Movie Flyer

Last week, I came across this Japanese flyer of the Transformers Movie while at a Japanese cinema.

The B5 sized movie ad has two sides. The front sports the mechanical eye from the Transformers Movie posters with “Transformer” written in Katakana. The reverse side describes the movie. At the top it reads “S. Spielberg” and Michael Bay”.

In Japan, loyalty and trust are important among consumers. Therefore, it is common practice for production companies to produce movie flyers like this so that Japanese consumers (audience members) trust that the movie will be successful.

Thank you for sharing these images with us, Stormrider. It's neat to see the promotional stuff from other countries.

I have a Decepticon cap with it on the back where the clasp normally is. It's sweet.
