I'm not surprised, Bay always said there was going to be "mortality" to the TFs...

I hope this is actualy true.
I like Jazz as much as the next guy, but let him stay dead, it gives the series more of an impact that way.

Even though this has come from Bay himself, how can we believe anything he says because he said they were going be putting out a lot of false info to keep us guessing.

Just can't accept it, can you, Jazz?

rumours or fake news either way i'd prefer if jazz stayed dead – don't really like it when characters magically come back from the dead - yeah optimus prime included.
unfortunately due to marketing reasons etc they'll be compelled to add many new characters but i'd rather they spent more time on characterisation. I wouldn't be surprised if within 10 - 20 years cgi would come in so cheap they could have a live action tv series...

How can there exist way more cooler bots than Jazz? He's the definition of coolness himself. (But still, would be awesomeness with sauce if he was voiced by Scatman Crothers, though. But McCrary or whatever the dude who voiced him, was alright enough. *mumbling* Crothers would own McCrary)

Crothers would own him? Um...yeah, if he were still alive. You do know that he passed away quite some time ago, correct? O_o
And I, for one, am glad that Jazz will stay dead. I mean, I realize it's science *fiction* but let's not go too far into fiction here, let's keep it realistic. We humans don't usually say "Pwn'd. Haxx0rz. RESPAWN" so why do these robots get the chance to? Seriously, as ridiculous as the concept is (and you have to accept that TFs are ridiculous, that's part of what makes 'em fun) there is such as thing as being too much so.
Ah well.

Well you know his constant toy releases may be what's putting that idea in their heads!
Again, I'm glad, but I'm also willing to bet that (if) there is a TF3 he'll be in that.
Part 3 of any series always tries to rehash as much of the first as possible

so that has me thinking it's probable.

THANK YOU!
I talked to people who weren't even Transformers fans and they said that bringing him back would have been incredibly foolish.
It sucks for Jazz fans, but come on... They very clearly said that they could not save him in the film...

I honestly hope that this is true and not one of those BS tactics Bay said he was going to pull out of the hat for TF2. It'd be nice to see a continuity where TF deaths are permanent and ANYONE in the chain of command is expendable.

Bay is a huge douche who doesn't get the transformers universe at all. He wants to make another movie with lots of explosions and big robots. The robots are not transformers, they are walking piles of scrap.

The only guy that should ever come back is Megatron. Even then only once, so they eventually have to either replace Megatron with a new character Galvatron or Starscream. OR...they could kill Prime instead and leave him dead.

Jazz's death felt too inconsequential in the movies, but I'm glad dead does mean dead. I hope that applies to Megatron, too!

Same here. You can't have ur cake and eat it too people. If Jazz died and stayed dead so should Megatron.

Ahem to that...you took the words out of my mouth. If he wants to keep Jazz dead, Megatron has to remain dead at the bottom of the ocean. In terms of where Jazz was placed, it was never pointed out in the movie.
