Would this be a good vehicle mode for Movie Blitzwing?

It's the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle. A USMC amphibious LVT that converts from a pratically full tank to assentially a heavy armor jetski. I know, I know, it can't fly but hey, it's a real military vehicle that would still make Blitzwing a triplechanger! How cool is that!?

cool, but I think if they added Blitzwing, he would have to fly. Not float. Otherwise he would be Blitzboat.

Not much of a transformation.
Cool for human thingy. But lame for a Cybertronian big shot.
I envision a triple-changer to have 2 alt modes of totally different disguise and function.

not a bad idea, thats a pretty badass piece of equipment. There's bound to be some marine TF's in the 2nd movie, since we've had land and air ones already

Haha
Good point.
Here's my contribution: Blitzfloat. With A&W tie in advertisement.

He has to be a jet because he has wing in his name.
He can't be a triple changer unless he turns into a jet and a tank that are of equal size. Does that exist? Otherwise, no.

It's ok to turn into something else.
As long as one is a tank, and the other is an aircraft.

It has to be a jet of some kind. What else is there? A guy with "wing" can't turn into a chopper. I hope you don't think a smaller cilvilian craft is acceptable for a Decepticon like him.
Besides, you say "As long as he's a tank". Why? It's not in his name, so why? If anything, you should have said "As long as he is a jet, and the other is a [something of equal mass].

"Wing" obviously points to aircraft. (Unless you want to put Beast Wars or other animal-bots in it.)
"Blitz" connotes reference to German tanks. That word has the strongest attachment to the world war 2's most advanced tank and war tactic. Later on, it just usually refer to something about tank.

Yeah, but when I think of Blitz, I actually think of football. But maybe that's me.
Anyway, yeah I see now, he has both in his name. But the word "blitz" is not "tank", while "wing" is definately talking about one thing.
Honestly, I just see the whole tank to jet thing too much for a movie to realistically portray.
But if they did have him in it, he's the most logical of the triple changers, with Broadside and Octane being the least logical. Sandstorm and Astrotrain are stretching it pretty far too.
Of any triple changers, Blitzwing would be best for this one.

Blitz certainly does not equate to tank, if you're after the meaning of the word. It just got a strong attachment to it, thanks to Hitler.
Blitz do mean something about football. But we can't use that in the movie.
Another modern day meaning of blitz is sustained aerial bombing.
So another option will be to eliminate the tank and triple changer idea completely, and give Blitzwing a single aircraft alt mode?

Yup. That's definitely more Seaspray than Blitzwing.
Nice one.
