Am I only in thinking the drone idea doesn't especially fit with the idea of the War. I mean I understand why their have to be these faceless drones but I'm not too fond on the idea personally. I mean if Megatron really did have a Legion of mass-produced drones under his control surely he could have easily beaten the Autobots time and again.
Plus, the "Lets all have Shockwave's head" annoys me, especially on the Swindle character.

Without the Allspark, Meg's can't make sentient Decepticons, just a hive-mind where he is the queen.
"For the Majesty!"
Besides, every general needs cannon fodder.

Drones seem to make sense in the context of this story. Very Beast Wars/Beast Machines-ish. It's just too bad that they're using constructicons as the drone bodies. Maybe they'll become sapient in the next two movies?

Well, you gotta have some kind of expendable characters that you can kick the slag out of. Can't be the big guys all the time, can it?

the whole drone concept is abit overrated because it dosnt give the other decepticons to get chances to Kill the Autobots, its always the drones doing there dirty work
