I was browsing iTunes typed in Transformers and it gave me the movie cover with a button that says rent it. No more info at this time.

Rent? On iTunes? What would be the point of that?

its part of the new itunes/mac book air thing.itunes now has movies and tv shows to rent online. you download the file, can keep it 30days but as soon as you watch it you have 24 hrs then the file atomaticly deletes....mac is going into the digital stage of things, the mac book air has no cd drive, if you wish to have one you gotta by an external drive......

it is..its called dvd lol...anyways the whole point of itunes is to rent it..not keep it. im sure someone will figure out a hack though that will allow them to keep the downloads but untill then oh well.

Unless it's a really cheap price, wny not just go and buy the DVD?

Despite my previous sarcasm, I think this is a pretty cool idea. Cuts down on owning too much stuff.

Well, considering I don't have an ipod anyway, it's not my problem.
But, I'm sure there's a way to permanantly put it on there, so just press stuff until something cool happens.

Renting does seem kinda rediculous though, I mean, unless you aren't a fan of it, why simply rent when buying is right there?

Wait, it stays for 30 days on your computer, right? Couldn't you download it to your ipod and keep it? or not?

Well yeah you could keep downloading it but after the 30 days it would be out of your libary

I dont get why its for rent that dosent make much since but i sure some people would get it. Not me of course since i got the DVD but i mean get it from block buster or Netflixs there you can keep it for who knows how long.

say its bad idea person rent a film to watch on computer there flight is late and when they finally have the time watch it the film tehy rented the film is deleted fomr there computer you want to keep it permalty just burn it to your dvd and then copy the film with dvd ripper program onto your computer.

i dont like itunes i accidently dleted my album wichic is only accsable on itunes after you purchase something on itunes and you dont back it up on cd you need to rebuy that sameitem just to get it back and to convert the media files to play on dvd or cd player itself which there are not to many programs that can convert itune files
