Final battle in the city

When they get to the city and Ironhide says "Its Starscream" then has Bumblebee help him lift that truck I always that those two were just taking cover. I finally got a copy of the book and it says that they were actually using the truck to shield the people there. I wonder if that is not shown well because of having to change the format to make it fit on a TV screen.

I figured right away it was to block the rockets and cancel them out.
They could have just dove for cover otherwise.

Yeah, if they were taking cover they would have ran like hell. Those missels did a huge amount of damage. My question would be why Ironhide didn't seem damaged at all. The rocket hit the middle of the truck, you'de think Ironhide would be damaged too.

IronHide has tougher skin. Even his name sayes it.

They stood the truck up for a reason and that reasonis that Starsream might think its a transformer in robot mode therefore fireing at the truck and blowing it up

no if he thought it was a robot he would have fired even more. But you'de think they would have tried to find something a little stronger. But then again they prolly didn't have time. I'm surprised the army didn't bring something heavily armed with them.
