Eyewitness News has reported Universal Studios has confirmed that it has signed a six year deal to produce at least four movies based on properties owned by Hasbro. Transformers (and GI Joe) is not part of that deal. But the 2007 Transformers movie as well as the movies being made in the future were all co-productions between Universal Pictures and Hasbro.

Interesting... Is that just about the toys or about fantasy-worlds too? (*prays for a Forgotten Realms movie*)

How the hell are they going to make a MOVIE about Battleship? When someone sinks your battleship in real life, it's not at all funny. That means your country gets invaded. :-?

Does anyone have a total list of all the properties Hasbro owns? I'd be intersted in seeing what other properties are good movie fodder...

Maybe they'll finally make The My Little Pony epic, or M.A.S.K., Furby, and Gem!

Yo.

Although that might not be the full list, it does seem like the potential movie franchises are even shorter.

But a movie about Clue? They already did that. It was awesome. It had Mike McKean and Tim Curry and Christopher Lloyd. Far be it from me to complain about something like this, but why mess with this?

This post is made of win. And that might be from my own lack of sleep.
