Oh your funny

I'm not saying I dont like America, but alot of movies take place in America so I'm just looking for something diffrent. However, I do appriciate the comment

The reason for that is because the films you're talking about (not most films, just the big Hollywood blockbusters which is
not the majority of films, you just hear more about them) are made by Americans. The American film market is huge, so you could expect the ones you hear about to be American and so set in America.
There's also a reason American films take place in America. Right, imagine the cost of taking a whole filming crew, cast, props, set designs, etc across to another state. That's quite a bit already.
Now imagine that same trip but rather than going to another state, imagine it's all placed on a few planes/boats and shipped over to a whole different country. THAT is expensive.
Now consider that all films have a budget.
Now consider that CGI effects have to be paid for and realise that exotic locations = less robot screen time. What would you prefer, Transformers in the USA or 2 dimensional, shallow human cast in Russia?
Also in the case of Transformers, it's one big advertising campaign for GMC and a show case for the Army's vehicles so if it weren't set in America it'd be a bit difficult as they wouldn't exactly be disguised... A Peterbilt 379 in the UK??? It'd stick out like a sore thumb! A F-22 Raptor? Don't be so silly, when have they been in France XD
And new bots wouldn't even have modes based on American vehicles so they wouldn't be advertising.
That is the sad truth about TF the movies....
Now, if we're talking about where would we like it to take place if budget weren't a problem and it weren't one big advert then anyone who doesn't say the good ol' UK is a bloody loony!!!
