OH GOD! WHY DID I HAVE TO DREAM THIS CRAP?

I had the most disturbing dream the other night. It's Transformers movie related and involves Jazz and two teenage humans (not Sam or Makaela).

I had this dream that movie Jazz was laying on his back at a gas station. He looked like he was knocked out from battle or something. A teenage girl and boy approached him. They looked like late middle-schoolers or early high-schoolers. The girl had reddish brown hair in a short pony tail and the boy had short straight black hair.

Anyways, as they are both looking at unconscious Jazz, the girl says, "Think we should go over there and have a look?" The boy just nods.

So they both walk up to him. Then the girl looks at the boy and says, "Do you think he has a...you know? Do you think we should look?"

Then the girl climbs on top of Jazz's torso, pulls up his groin plate a bit, looks inside, and exclaims, "Oh my God!"

At that point, Jazz starts to regain consciousness, and as he does so, the kids start to immediately run some distance away.

Jazz gets up on his feet, transforms, and starts to drive off. As he's driving off, one of his arms briefly comes out of his car mode with his hand flipping both of the teenage kids off!

I pray I am not having a premonition about a scene in the second transformers movie, because this is even worse than scene in the first movie where Bumble Bee pees on Simmons!

Dreams about wanting to check out the private parts of a Transformer is probably something you should keep to yourself. :P

But experts say it is healthier to share one's traumas. Well I wish I could control what I dream at night.

I think this dream might be saying something, like you might be gay.

Dreams mean nothing, no matter how odd they may be. It's just your brain processing information as you sleep. A lot of times it won't make sense. Everyone at some point has had such a dream, whether you remember them or not. What's important is to think nothing of it because in the end, it's only a dream and not real.

Still, I have to agree that it's better to keep such things as the dream you had, to oneself.

I've dreamt my fair share of realistic, semi-real and downright impossible scenarios, but never once did people in my dreams speak audibly. Do people 'hear' the characters in their dreams or do they receive a mental understanding of what the fictional character wants to express?

You must have lived a very charmed and sheltered life if you consider seeing the first movie and your dream a "trauma".

Not that theres anything wrong with that :-P

I wouldn't rule out anything disgusting when it comes to humor in TF2.

I find it disturbing that you would have such a disturbing dream. :?
Sometimes dreams are mix-and-matches of stuff you saw or thought of during the day.
Maybe you had thoughts of such.... related stuff?

Oh that's not as disturbing as stuff I have dreamed over the years, like being chewed up by a monster and actually hear my bones brake and my flash being cut and minced.
Or dreaming of being Venom ripping people apart eating them and stuff like that, but to be honest I never think about stuff like that in the first place, they just happen in my dreams.

Wow, really ?

They do in mine and in fact the last dream I can recall just the other day I was at the head of a large oval business meeting and for some reason everyone was really old like in their 80's at least except for me and then one really young child maybe 2 or 3 years old tops and the child went to the far end of the table and sat next to presumably their grandfather or great grandfather and I remember muttering the comment of "Well at least they'll both be wearing diapers" but someone at the front of the meeting table actually heard me and was offended and said "Now that wasn't very damn professional was it ?"

I hope that's not a foretelling of this mornings meeting!

I often remember certain 'lines of dialogue' from my dreams, but never do I associate these with the actual sound of said dialogue. Like I said, I merely remember what was expressed, not how it sounded. Do I simply forget that or is sound perceived differently in people's dreams?

I'm sure it's different to everyone as everyone's brains are structured differently and your experiences either recent or in the past will influence them.

I'm going to be writing a book soon and in fact it is based on a dream, my first color dream and it's sort of transformer related...I can't wait to get started when I get my new computer system in a month or so.

There is no sound in dreams. This is hard to believe because in movies and even video games like Zelda Ocarina of Time they have sound in dreams, but that is not real.

Sound is not perceived in dreams. Only the idea of it. Dialogue is an idea in dreams. Not an actual sound.

Now color in dreams does vary from person to person. All my dreams are in color, but I've had people try and teach me, in school, that there is no such thing as color in dreams or memories or peripheral vision. That is wrong, because I have color in all three, but apparently most people don't...
