On the corner of Sunset and Vine there is a building under construction, there is now a huge Transformers Movie banners on it's side. What are they going to come up with next? What they should do is stick loads of full size mock ups of the movie figures in various citys, peering down from the tops of buildings or cliging to the sides. That would be cool.

That building looks like it will come down in a decent size earthquake.

Their advertising, Our world...

Sorry had to. Its kinda cool to see transformers everywhere but also kinda sad to see the extent that marketing will go to promote a movie.

I'd like to see something like this in England. Maybe they could drop a banner down the side of St. Stephen's Tower. Ha ha, how frightfully tacky!

At least they gave it some effort and made it look like someone breaking out if the building, instead of just the "eye" logo.

I think this is all symbollic. The movie, technically, is still under construction (still have not gotten the voice actors completed) as well as the building in the pic. Wonder if the construction of the building will be completed about the same time as the movie... who knows?

I wish Chicago got sweet-ass adverts like that. We do on occasion, but not for movies. Imagine how sweet it would be to see "Transformers" on the sides of the "L" cars...

I think he means "L" as in "elevated trains".

That would be cool. But remember auqagate? People freaked out about lightbrites. I think Giant robots would have the same reaction from those idiots. The only way it would work would br to have the figure by a TF movie sign or in a movie display.

Anyone else find it ironic that the pictured robotic hand is more traditional "G1-esque" than anything we're gonna see in the film?
