Apparently a few of the Barricade style Mustangs were captured on the road in Culver City recently riding on the back of a flatbed trailer.

So the question is, has shooting TF2 begun finally, or were these being moved for some other purpose? Barricade's fate in the movie was rather undecided, so his involvement in TF2 is also undetermined, but it looks possible that he may be making a comeback!

Sweeeeet! Gotta love Barricade, he's the best new character in a long time!

I'm super happy that (it looks like) he's coming back! And if they are already in preparation for shooting, we might see other spy photos soon.

Seriously though, sweet new that he's keeping his old alt-mode if this is for the movie.

Maybe it's for a flashback explaining why he never made it to the city to help the D-cons try to retrieve the Allspark.

thats good to here barricade, and scorponck missing first film may be relived on what they where doning when the final fight was going on maybe I would liek to be proven wrong and say yes fro sure but ive seen couple films that had plot holes in them superman movie lex lurthor has nephew for example and some others?????

may M. bay isnt one of those directors to leave some minor little plot holes in his films and if he wants a winner to be better he will fill in the plot holes im optimistac as all of you right now waiting to see to find out will barricade missing appeance at the final fight be in the film or will they just show him fighting to the end and go off line in the sequel and maybe his plotline will be on the sequel dvd.?

I remember when they were casting voice actors. Keith David was originally announced to be Barricade's voice. Anyone know what happend with that?

I think that these Saleen "Barricade" Mustangs has nothing to do with the new Transformers 2 movie but these Saleen "Barricade" Mustangs cars are being transported for safety concerns to fans who had their Saleen Mustangs custom made to look like Barricade.

I would have thought that most of the Transformers from the first film would be replaced in the 2nd otherwise the new toy count would be low. Unless there are going to be LOTS of characters this time round

These pics clearly show the transformer markings the saleens that are replicas do not have such markings, they say "saleen" instead of "police" and do not have the decepticon logo in the police shield.

I am not sure I find that very likely, as replica police vehicles tend to be shunned. But I suppose it is possible?

Which is one of the reasons I developed my theory on this being used for a scene to show what did, or will befall Barricade. Probably a transition into the new movie...something familiar to link us to the beginning of something new?

But then again, I think to myself, why would they bother? If it were important enough, they would have included that in the first movie.

I guess he must be coming back to take part. Maybe he'll change forms though.

Nice. This is an awesome find. Im loving all the speculation it brings up with all the possibilities that come with it. I loved Barricade and hope he makes it to the second film in any capacity.

Im gonna probably get some flak for this but how does anyone know this is for TF2? it couldve been a picture captured before TF1?
dont get me wrong I wanna know what happen to Barricade but does anyone have any credible proof?

They didn't when they made the first movie either.

As far as when it was taken, I thought it showed on the site that it was taken Yesterday...

I hope this isn't one of those fake rumors and that Barricade really is in TF2, after all Orci and Kurtzman said his dissaperance in the 1st movie is a "thread for Movie 2." He's also my favorite Decepticon from the movie.
