I just registered tonight and I have been searching the forums looking for answers to what happened to Barricade. Seriously though does anyone really know what happened to him?

To answer you question......

The script,novel and the comic book adaptation all show Barricade being decapitated [like Bonechrusher] by Optimus in the highway ficht scene.

But the scene with Barricade was never filmed.Ether Bay decided to keep the character around for a second film of he ran over budget and couldnt afford to film the scene.

Man... that shot where Prime exits the allyway and knocks over those thrash cans before he transforms and joins the final battle still sends chivvers down my spine no matter how many times i see it...
That image with the musicscore underneath, so powerfull....the whole thing just screams :'the main man is back in town, look out decepticon scum'

Well in the comic Reign of Starscream it shows Barricade running into a..speed limit sign post..I seriously laughed so hard when I saw that panel in the comic.

But in the movie..he just disappears. Either Bay was running out of time and wanted to leave Barricade somewhere or..Cliffhanger :O
