The MTV Movie award nominations have been released, as reported on ComingSoon.net and the Transformers 2007 live action film has landed three nods within the Best Movie category, Best Male Performance (Shia Lebeouf) and Best Breakthrough Performance (Megan Fox).

Another non TF nomination earned by a cast member is Best Kiss (Shia Lebeouf in Disturbia).

I thought they'd already had these, goes to show, there's too many pointless awards shows to keep track of. Go Shia?

I think we had the plain ol' MTV Awards, and then there were the Aussie ones a few weeks ago... it's too confusing.

gee....no best fight or best action sequence? or even best hero/villain or something...i mean i thought this movie was a lock for those sorta categories

I'm with ya Bouncy_X, I thoguht it'd be locked for those awards, but no.

Megan Fox gets a best breakthrough nomination? I think she's an alright actress and everything but never would I think she'd get a nomination for it.

Meh, after the last few months where TF has lost the awards it was nominated for I have less hope in this one.
