Isabel Lucas joins Transformers 2 Cast

A casting announcement posted on the Meissner Management talent agency website states that Isabel Lucas has joined the cast of 'Transformers 2' in the role of "Alice".

Are you guys sure TF2 won't simply take place down under instead of Arizona

While she is an attractive woman, I'm sure not liking the fact that this is a movie about giant robots.

hes the "fat kid" from super bad.

He was also in knocked up as one of the "friends" of the main character.

Apparently he was also in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but i didn't see that and don't know how big of a role he had in that, other than just the waiter at one restaurant.

All that matters is that there is a BEACH SCENE somewhere... This blonde chick plus Meghan Fox...heck yeah

The last time Lucas went near a beach she and Claire from Heroes ended up with arrest warrants out for them. (They were protesting whaling)

Good on her if she has secured the role as she grew up an hour and a half from where I live and was "discovered" simply walking around the markets. Sure she may have got her big break on Home and Away but I wish her the best of luck, and I hope she does a better job of covering up the Australian accent.

I've seen the video of that. Its pretty emotional actually. *imagines a crossover comic, Transformers Vs Heroes*

I haven't seen any of Lucas' work before so I'm clueless if this is a good sign for this movie or not but I do hope that her character has an important role to play in the story.

Why should she cover up her Aussie accent? It's nice to hear something different in a movie every now and again. (or to have an actual Aussie accent, not one that a Yankee puts on!).

Just hope Lucas doesn't have to travel to Japan to promote the film at any point...

Alice? Hmmm. Alice In Wonderland?

Oh crap the movie is really starting to go down the drain now. I was dreading the day when someone from a Australian soap was going to poke their ugly head into the TF franchise. Now that day has come.Dread Shame about that Superbad guy not being in TF 2. He would have got my sister to come with me to see it (she loves movies like Superbad, Knocked Up).

How can anyone diss Home and Away. It has some of the best acting and storylines on tv.

Isabel Lucas is mesmerising. A great actress.

And I hope that loser Jonah Hill does not get in cos he will mess up the parts he is in.
Those films like Superbad and the others do not even require acting. Just take clothes off sometimes, get drunk, act like a idiot, make losers feel good about themselves.
It might end up be like a pointless version of Carlos in Armada.

Exept Carlos was a million times better.

Or he will be like the role Shia Le Beouf played in Even Stevens but grossly stupid.

And why should she cover up he accent? There is no reason that a Australian woman would not be in America. Maggie from TF1 is Australian.

I hope they aren't. But this poster might be a UK person who worship Aussie soaps or they maybe Australian teenie bopper that votes heaps on H&A "actors" (I use that word lightly) nominated for Logie awards.Chris Lilley was robbed for the gold I tells ya .

Following up from the first Cairns Post news report, they had an interview with her a few days later and she claimed to not know anything about being involved with Transformers 2.

Well on Sunrise this morning they had a sit down interview with her and she confirmed that she will be part of the TF2 cast.

She actually seemed a bit quiet and reserved, almost shy.
