Screen Actors Guild strike may delay TF2

Slice of Sci Fi has reported that with the contract for the Screen Actors Guild set to expire on June 30th of this year, production for multiple movies may come to a screeching halt if an agreement cannot be reached.
Despite these reports, some productions are pressing forward with its shooting schedule, like "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins", directed by McG, which is looking for a May 22nd 2009 release, and, of course, Michael Bay, who is set to begin shooting the film in early June of this year and looking for a June 29th 2009 release date.
Other directors do not seem as hopeful of the situation as shown by Producer/Director Steven Spielberg who has completely stopped production of his newest film about a trial over war activists in the year 1968. He and other directors are putting their projects on hold until after the June 30th deadline.
We can only wait and see what events may come and whether or not the projected release date for Transformers 2 will hold true.
