Steve Jablonsky Wins Film & Television Award

Steve Jablonsky, who composed the score for the 2007 Transformers movie has received two BMI Film & Television Awards for his work as a composer on the Transformers movie as well as his work on the TV Show Desperate Housewives, as reported in an article by BusinessWire. Well, I don't care at all for Desperate Housewives on any level. Still, since I collect plastic transforming robots, I shouldn't judge... Mr. Jablonsky deserves this award :APPLAUSE: ; that score is beautifully crafted, and listening to it never gets old for me.

Meh. The score was, at best, generic and instantly forgettable. Who was he up against?

Judges who had a different opinion than yous. :)

I personally thought that it was a beautiful score. And I still want to know what the heck language is in the Decepticons track, and/or what they're saying!

I thought the score was pretty good. Michael Bay's absolute lack of talent means that his movies have to be propped up by slo-mo shots, fancy special effects, and music. Transformers being a complete piece of garbage, the music and the effects had to be exceptionally good, and I think they were.
