Transformers Live Action Movie Blog shows a picture of the new Chevy Volt with the other Autobots on set. It was heard that the Volt would not be a Transformer but the article makes good points to suggest otherwise. Check it out here:

Seeing all these GM cars... Is the movie sequel also tied to GM deal?

Yeah.

It's just that most European car companies don't want their cars being portrayed as "war vehicles".

That's sad. I thought other car companies can be involved. Not necessarily European. Can be American or Japanese or Korean.

Well... we do have the Audi R8, and there's also the possibility of Barricade coming back (Saleen Mustang), although we haven't see his alt mode in any pics from sets yet.

I agree that it would have been cool for Lamborghini or Porche to be involved, but the nice thing about GM is how they include Chevy, Pontiac, Hummer, Saturn, etc... gives us a nice variety of vehicles. I'm not trying to advertise for them, I'm just saying it could be worse...

Uhm... not exactly what's in my mind. I'm hoping on more of everyday cars from different brands. Like a Ford Focus there, a Nissan Pathfinder here, a Mazda6 wagon there...

But i'm good with your ideas. Multi-brand super cars would be nicer than a monopoly. :)

I'm glad there's at least an Audi. What a relief!
